Pretty sad that with 4 different groups I meet off here none could finish Oryx
It's absolutely pathetic. Vault of Glass was a good challenging raid, but I could finish it with randoms. This Oryx fight is ridiculous. I was with a team of 315s (that I met on here) that couldn't survive until Shade after 7 rounds!!!!! That's pathetic man. It's so frustrating to try and have faith in this community and give people a chance but they just end up being garbage at the game. Really sad. Step your game up Destiny players cuz the ones I played with tonight sucked.

3 RepliesIt's funny because I was looking the stats on that raid you did, you had the second lowest kills and the lowest kd at 8, while the rest of your time had over 20 in kd I believe you were the problem

Good luck, only people left playing regularly are fairly new or suck Not that many good people are still playing, and those that are have already settled into fairly regular raid groups

And the reason I want to play with you is? Just because you had a horrible doesn't mean everyone sucks. I haven't beaten Hard Oryx, why should I? To get a chance of my reward being less than 310?

That's the main reason most lfg requirements are 318+. I played with a 319 yesterday that had never beaten oryx. All he did was die and complain. I wish light was a determination of skill and not just lucky rng

Thats why i look for experienced players. If i see a low lv. Either he leaves or ill leave. Plus if you have a bad runner than more than 1 player will die. If you have a good runner that everything should go smooth. Every one for themselves. I have 67 oryx completions and the majority are from lfg..

Not to mean but this is knew of the reason you start seeing these high level request post. No one wants to struggle with something that has been out for 6 months anymore . I have a group and we just smoke through it.

This is why I haven't completed the raid yet, just can't get a good group. However I had a similar encounter with the war priest . Failed for over an hour with various random Players with low light and no mics.Then met a team of players similar light level to me and communication and we beat it pretty much immediately

All the good players do not do the raid anymore. They've already gotten everything worth getting. My group could run through the raid in 45 minutes but none of us do it anymore. I had a 320 the first week of oryx challenge mode. That's why you can't beat it

The different thing about the Oryx fight is that everyone is super important- you can't just run around mindlessly killing stuff or simply get carried through the raid. Everyone has their own plate to focus on and can't always rely on other people to pick up the slack. I helped 3 people today who had never beaten the raid before because I knew how frustrating it could be. I made sure they knew exactly what they were doing, so they didn't need other people to fix their mistakes. It was actually quite fun, once everyone got the mechanics sorted

7 RepliesNow you see what ultimately made me stop playing weeks ago. Im no scrub, i hold my own and then some. I just got sick of having to pull together another group of sissies that struggle at totems and quit at daughters.

Maybe it's you, I mean you do only have seven King's fall completions between normal and hard mode, if you've even done hard mode, you talk about the community sucking at the game, when it looks like you're the one that sucks, don't generalise is in the same skill pool as you, that's not fair, very few people are that bad.

Check the guys profiles of the guys you played with. Most of them done Oryx as soon as they got rid of the dead weight.

It's hit or miss. Last night I was in a group that couldn't handle the totems. It's frustrating.

Your grimoire shows that you die way too much in raids. Now I'm not saying that those stats are a guaranteed show of skill, if you go to explore a lot, however your death count is very very high for the number of completions you have. Something tells me that the fireteams you found aren't the only ones causing wipes.
