Quitters need to be punished
The title says it all. Why is there no deterant to stop people quitting crucible matches? It ruins your match. It ruins the match of the person who replaced the quitter (if anyone even replaces them). Why cant there be a 30 minute (or longer) exclusion from pvp if you quit a match? Does anyone think that it would be unfair/unreasonable to add this sort of time ban?

Trouble is it is unfair to force people to play laggy games, or go up against a fireteam of six with five randoms. I won't quit just because I'm getting stomped but I will if the lag is horrible, and I absolutely will if I get put into a game where four people have quit and the other team is like 5000 points up already. Mercy rule needs tweaking, it's a great thing in this game and I think it does its jobs pretty well, it should also activate if half your team quits and your down by quite a bit.

30 is a bit extreme I'd say maybe 5-10 minute penalty

So much that can't happen. #1 wins/losses don't matter. #2 K/D is irrelevant #3 RNG does not favor wins over losses (see #1) #4 some get kicked out because Bungie #5 some choose to leave once a lagging player has been determined to be unkillable #6 etc... There is more, but why does any of that matter, when there is no reward for wins?

If they do this before they remove join in progress and get rid of all the laggy shits, then there's a serious problem

Bungee should make it that when you quit a lot of times from various matches you get banned : Quit 5 matches = 1h ban

They could have had a power outage, got put in a game where your already losing which is basicly what happens now, the lag is to much, a parent called them and they left (not by choice) to make sure they didn't just die. No game company should even do this

The punishment should be they get match with a losing team for infinity... Never gets a fresh match always is the 6th wheel lol

5 RepliesAs a player who never leaves mid game. I can still make an argument against a timed ban for leaving mid game. For one, what if someone has to stop playing Destiny and has to quit?
