4 RepliesEdited by ZHX1138: 3/9/2016 12:16:03 AMMaybe getting her back is the new RAID? We fight the Cabal in a new raid to recover the Queen from the Darkness. Maybe she's Oryx's Wife? Oryx is the Taken King afterall. And she's the Queen of the Reef. Maybe that's why Oryx is called the Taken King. His heart is Taken by the Queen. LOL.

In the recent vidoc, a designer pretty much gave it away that she is not dead, and that she will be given more character development in the future.

I'm not dead.

3 RepliesYeah...when I saw her ship get hit by a giant hive dreadnought death blast and explode and rip apart into 47 pieces...I also thought she just fainted
-
She's alive Just like those on flight 370 are alive No body = alive.
-
Dead or not I just want in the guarded door on the reef
-
3 RepliesI'm still wondering where the snowy location from the h.o.w dlc trailer is lol

1 ReplyUntil you stand over her body she's alive. Also she's too important and underdeveloped a character to kill off now. It's like if the Exo Stranger would to be get killed the very next time we see them, there's no emotional hit from that as there isn't enough of a connection with their character. Honestly the way things have ended up with Prince Uldren makes me wonder if Bungie is setting up his story from the original (alpha pre story change) game. We know he's on Mars and alive

Ask her tomorrow. She'll be on the twitch stream. Oh, and the Crota woman.
-
3 RepliesNope. I'm still alive!

10 RepliesWell the dreadnaught blasts her fleet and destroys part of Saturn's rings. There is no body or in game confirmation. Petra believes Mara Sov to be dead - along with her brother Prince Uldrin. However her comment "I have played my part, everything is going according to plan" intimates that she is not dead and that she planned for what happened, ie Oryx, and the guardians' intervention. We know that Eris is one of Mar Sov's "hidden". Grimoire lore (like Telesto for example) also indicates that she and her brother aren't confirmed dead, and a search continues to find them. So I think it would be too soon to think that the awoken queen or her brother are gone for good.

Tropes 101: Offscreen death and/or no body means a character is still alive. Corollary 1: Even onscreen deaths and bodies are not conclusive. Corollary 2: Death in fiction is cheap, and can be dealt out or retracted according to the needs of the plot or whims of the author.

3 RepliesNobody found her body... She was presumed to be dead.
-
Nope I've taken the Queen.

4 RepliesDesting 2: The Taken Queen You heard it here first

you from Internet Explorer?

The stranger phazed-in and got her out just in time!! True story. Ishb
-
5 RepliesYes she's dead. Grinoire, in game chat from Petra etc, all point to her being dead. Her brother is alive though
-
She's definitely not dead. She was just starting to play a bigger role in the lore, it'd be ridiculous to just kill her off like that. At least, that's my opinion.

Edited by BRAX7ON 117: 3/9/2016 7:39:40 PMNope She's chillin Recuperating Waiting for her brother to come find her

Spoiler!

At first I thought Foundling's Gyre, the crucible map, The Drifter was the Awoken Queen, Mara Sov's flagship and that we were fighting on it without realizing it. XD

There is one grimoire card that says that she is most likely dead but it is not confirmed. Likely Eris teleported her out with that ability she used in the story mission where you go to Crotas end.
