Allright, so are you saving you're engrams?
I've heard alot of players saving their exotic engrams in the vault to decrypt after the update?
But why? Is it so you'll get a garanteed 320?

From what I have been told it doesn't matter if u got the engrams to drop when 320 was the max light then they will not decrypt any higher then 310

I've saved up over 30 legendary engrams to get a lot of the new vendor armor (assuming there will be new vendor armor) when the spring update comes. Not sure if I'm smart or an idiot.

Right now you have to be over 310 to get the exotics to roll at 310. I'd say just make sure that you are over 320 first and see if then see if they roll 320.

5 RepliesIm from Puerto Rico and my main languaje is Spanish and still I know the difference between "your" and "you're" lol. But to answer the question Yes, got around 25 engrans saved in vault.

It's likely the same thing will happen again when they introduce the next wave of exotics with the Spring update. If it doesn't work, then you'll just get pre-update exotics, which is what you would've gotten if you opened then early. Nothing lost, nothing gained. So you might as well save them if you've got most of the available exotics already. I got 4 helmet engrams saved. Hoping to get Astrocyte as soon as it drops.

Disappointment from the crypt keeper is better handled in one blow rather than dragged out while hunting with three of coins, rushing to get the latest thing that everyone is talking about.

2 RepliesYup. Seeing as I have all armor except the new chestpieces and I couldn't be bothered infusing into my other characters. Speaking of chestpieces, I haven't had 1 3oC chestpiece drop since around Christmas...

Since I have everything but TG and everything I use is at 310+ , I've been saving them. At this point they are just shards anyway.

3 RepliesWell, there are 2 reasons. First, they will be releasing more exotics. Having exotics saved up means I can potentially get them right away. Second, they will be raising the level cap. I'm assuming this means at a certain level our exotic engrams will start decrypting at higher light, so I can use them as infuse material.

What year 1 player has room in their vault to save anything anyway? While there's an ongoing debate whether this will work for an update when it hasn't worked for a DLC (remember how Rahoul couldn't even see the engrams we got from the chests after beating the pack of wolves?) I don't understand why folks rush to get the latest shiny on day one knowing they're just going to complain about a lack of content by the end of the same week. Take your time and enjoy the game.

Currently, their light is all that is rolled at decryption. Unknown if the item is rolled when the engram is generated. I'd not bet on it though, since they did that for HoW and TTK, where saved engrams were still previous expansion drops.
