Its funny. Ive only got a few days left before i leave for basic training. Ill be gone before i know it. And ive chosen to spend my remaining time in Destiny.
This post will probably go unnoticed. But i just want to say a few things.
Ive been playing this game since the beginning. And you know what? Its changed. A lot. Usually we get a console game... And it stays the same. So for better or for worse? At least there has been change.
In the end its been a fun game. Warts and all.
Peace out guys. Youve been a good community. See you in a while. :)
Edit: I apologize to any who feel offended by me broadcasting this. Im proud to be going. I simply felt like expressing my sentiments.
Read the above. My FEEDBACK is on the community. And the game. And im being positive. If you want to congratulate me thank you. If not? Then dont. This isnt about that.

1 ReplyScrew the ones posting hateful garbage. They are the ones who have never actively stood for anything, save maybe for some edgy comments made safely from behind thier keyboards. Good on you for your choices. Come back alive and in one piece.

I have a lot of respect for people like you. Thank you for keeping us all safe.

Good luck and may the force be with you!! No but seriously thank you for having the courage to keep us safe at home.

16 RepliesThats cool and everything but ummm why are u telling us? This the problem with people nowadays u go do something or are about to do something and they feel the need to let the whole world know. I was in military and I didn't feel the need to tell the world. Why do people need justification or get a pat on the back from others? Just go do basic and come back during tech school. Dont make a big deal out of it.

Good luck man, thank you too

27 RepliesEdited by Bungolickstaints: 3/1/2016 5:10:55 PMMeh. I don't really support the troops in peacetime lol. Sorry troops. If we were at war though, I'de be like "hell yeah give em hell". Tbh most of our active military just twiddles their thumbs on bases all over the world during peacetime lol. And our military has been used as a "regime crusher" lately. And the regimes that come up after we leave are even worse than the ones we take down. So I guess I support the troops themselves, but not the military. Our military also is a money pit. The money they get they don't spend wisely.

Stand at parade rest when you address everyone here, don't forget to use sir, ma'am or Sergeant either... I'm kidding but really, don't forget to use it, and Google Customs and Courtesies. It'll help a little bit, but gosh damn it, you gotta listen to your drill sergeants, and don't be afraid to ask questions, but remember, outta sight, outta mind. If your drills don't know you and you're squared away, they won't fuck with you.

Owww... You're going to basic bootcamp, i thought your getting deployed... No offense your title is a bit misleading...

Becoming a true life guardian, good for you my friend.
