Iron Banner Matchmaking Settings
IRON BANNER IS LIVE!
As you enter the [i]clash[/i] to impress Lord Saladin, you'll experience the same new-and-improved matchmaking settings that were present in [b][url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/192717349/0/0]Control[/url][/b] over the weekend.
[u]Summary[/u]: The emphasis is focused on connection quality. There are still minimal filters in place to shield the casual from the hardcore. The technical quality of the match is our primary concern.
[b]Damage Referee[/b] is also online. Players with poor connections will not enjoy a tactical advantage - quite the opposite in fact.
Get in there and play. Let us know how it feels. We know you will anyway, but we wanted to let you know that we're taking the things you say and putting them into practice.

1 ReplyYo my brother and I joined a match that had already begun and I was a freaking ghost brooo. I was knifing people left and right and they didn't even know I was there lmao. Only until after some guy joined the other team and eventually killed me. Shit was odd.

Iron Banner has been great for me, since I apparently say this a lot I'll continue doing so, I have had green bars 90% of the time and very little red bars and lag. Everything has been working great for me. Apparently SOME people, no names named, have a problem with good experiences being mentioned over and over. Well, too bad. Deal with it I did have one really bad instance of being killed by a guy that I had just killed 2 seconds before hand, but other than that it's been great

Thanks to your impressive work on matchmaking, this Iron Banner has been the worst date. Replacing the red bars by green bars doesn't make the lag any better you know.

I just went up against an entire team of noobs and had the most fun I have had in months. This should happen all the time there was no lag and these guys just got destroyed. I had 33 kills and 6.6 kd and I loved this game again. Not every match should be like this but I don't want to play a mirror image f myself all the time

This is happening almost every single game. Also being shot behind walls or just running along with no enemy's anywhere and mysteriously dying and reading "killed by the architects"! How is it when light matters players at 270's or 280's take little damage from my 307 and kill me every time? All this crap and getting 310 ghost shells that I got the last 3 IB's and one IB sniper at 283. I'd say things are worse now than they ever were! Spawn killing is also becoming a huge problem every game players camp out at spawn points. I couldn't even hit 5 on my last character, also some players with full green bar are not taking damage from any weapon, please elaborate on that B.S. Bungie???

New and improved? Sorry Deej but the matchmaking is far from improved....once again you guys have failed to fix the servers. It really makes me wonder if you guys at bungie are even trying to fix the issues... so disappointed as usual
