Well it's apparent that most exotic armor changes with shaders; however, there are many more that still need help. So please take the time to help me help you by keeping this thread alive. No more dance machines staying green when you want to wear a red shader. No more twilight Garrision staying blue when you want an all green shader. Those are just some examples of why you should help these cosmetic disasters! And let's not forget Class items! Like cmon... Really? They changed in year one, why make year two go backwards?

1 ReplyEdited by jay p: 2/24/2016 3:22:46 PMI vote for every exotic armor, past, present and future, to change color except twilight garrison.

3 Replies1. Yes to exotics. Using crest in Trials completely ruins my look :c 2. No to MOST class items. Things like the subclass ones, strike exclusive ones, Queen ones... Would completely lose their theme if they changed color. However, some - like the raid ones, should be affected.

1 ReplyEven better specifically apply shaders to each piece individually. I get real tired of that one armor piece that always has the reverse scheme for a particular shader.
-
2 RepliesYes. Crucible guns are ugly as hell and the faction weapons look way more obnoxious than they did in year one with the faction logos plastered on every piece of equipment
-
3 RepliesNo. The obsidian mind should look obsidian. Back in the day, none of them changed and that's how it should still be. I shouldn't need to use default shader to make my exotics look normal
-
1 ReplyHell no!! That makes too much sense! We here at bungie hate that shit buy if anyone asks, I'll just say some vague shit to give you false hope so you keep playing waiting for bullshit to happen. -Deej

1 ReplyI would take it a step further. You should be allowed to fully customise your armor appearance using default or any shader you have on a piece by piece basis. Simple way would be press □ for shader option on each piece and apply the desired shader. So you can find a unique combination of shaders and create the look you want.

Edited by newpsychotyped: 2/23/2016 3:01:05 PMThinking about some pieces that have a very unique look to them, feel like they should have some options to them. Option 1:change color with shader Option 2: built in shader with exotic
-
I don't think all exotics should change with shaders, but some should have that option that currently do not
-
Except empyrean bellicose. That looks great the way it is
-
5 RepliesI am not a fan of some exotics changing color with shaders. I loved the original look of Helm of Saint 14, Armamentarium just to name 2
-
How about all exotics have the option to have shaders effect them?

1 ReplyEdited by Heisenberg0712: 2/23/2016 2:33:40 PMYeah. Plus, the Trials cloak only goes well with a black shader (or at least out of the shaders I have). It would be sweet if it could change colours.

1 ReplyDefinitely agree. Changing shaders for class items is a big deal. Especially for hunters since they have cloaks.

1 ReplyMaybe all besides the exception of Obsidian mind.... Because it is obsidian.... And they're aren't any emerald, ruby or sapphire minds. Etc. lol.

3 RepliesDon't forget class items.
