I will start.
1. Street Fighter. Just straight up old school arcade 1v1 action that lets you reminisce of the glory days of arcades. No items, no stage hazards, no finishers, no singleplayer because playing computers is silly and worthless to EVO training, just BARE BONES COMPETITIVE GOODNESS. Lmao MK is for children who likes blood and boobs. Japan makes the best and most hardcore games.
2. Counter-Strike. The most hardcore shooter of all time. Halo pales in comparison. Streaming this game on Twitch gets you instant gamer cred. Especially if you wasted hundreds of dollars for your virtual knife to show off, which is bind to a key that lets you literally inspect it and question what you've just done. Once again, no singleplayer because its worthless to e-sports.
3. Dark Souls. It's so hard. Did I tell you hard how it is? Let me remind you how hard it is.

3 RepliesEdited by Sapphire: 2/21/2016 5:06:51 PMEvery fighting game except for Super Smash Bros and Mortal Kombat. Those 2 games definitely can be played super hardcore, but those games draw in more casual players than other fighting games, I think..

DOTA 2, League and WoW. Majority of their most Hardcore fans only have that game installed to their PC.

Dots 2. Every game requires slightly different strategies. At times, a win or loss could come down to a single mistake. Also, you're playing against other people, not AI.

Edited by Upperclass Bum: 2/22/2016 9:25:21 AM>Street Fighter You're joking, right? Street Fighter - being one of the most well know and popular fighting series is not played by "hardcore" gamers only. You run into more scrubs and casuals on those games alone than you do most any other one. Just 'cause tourney level players play the game doesn't mean its population or even its fanbase is comprised of "hardcore" gamers... Regardless, this thread is dumb.

You didn't tell us hard how it is
