Name games only HARDCORE GAMERS play and why
I will start.
1. Street Fighter. Just straight up old school arcade 1v1 action that lets you reminisce of the glory days of arcades. No items, no stage hazards, no finishers, no singleplayer because playing computers is silly and worthless to EVO training, just BARE BONES COMPETITIVE GOODNESS. Lmao MK is for children who likes blood and boobs. Japan makes the best and most hardcore games.
2. Counter-Strike. The most hardcore shooter of all time. Halo pales in comparison. Streaming this game on Twitch gets you instant gamer cred. Especially if you wasted hundreds of dollars for your virtual knife to show off, which is bind to a key that lets you literally inspect it and question what you've just done. Once again, no singleplayer because its worthless to e-sports.
3. Dark Souls. It's so hard. Did I tell you hard how it is? Let me remind you how hard it is.

What is a hard core gamer? Every time I hear that it makes me think of some 35 year old loser with no life. I know that's a stereo type but you know, what do you think of when you hear someone refer themselves as or others as one. Just a thought. Sounds pathetic to me.

Come back to me when you get a team of Players, that the only "hard" boss fights they have seen are in Dark Souls, beats every end game boss on WoW and SWTOR in all difficulties. True MMOs and RTS are the only place where you'll see most of the Hard Core community. FPS sure has Hard Core gamer but I honestly think they're mostly tryhards and suck at any other genre. Its funny when gamers say that you're a casual for not playing Dark Souls or that they brag about being Hard Core gamers and only play FPS. Do you self a favor and do actual boss fights in an MMO and play a game where the skill gap is higher than twitch reflexes and aiming.

Lol all this talk of dark souls and not a single mention of its predecessor. Difficulty wise demon souls was more difficult than dark souls. To put into perspective, if both games were soups based on difficulty, demon souls would be clam chowder and dark souls would be chicken and rice.

Dark Souls. I got it free with xbox free games with gold and after being killed hundreds of times with no idea where to go I turned it off. A friend had me get Dark Souls 2 just to play it together but couldn't connect to each other and I really don 't want to get into to the details of that. I have friends that say they really like it and also so much hype around Dark Souls 3 coming out that I just will not ever understand. I watch Twitch streamers run through Bloodbourne and I get it that gamers enjoy the challenge but not my kind of games at all and never will be.
