Ok, so Bungie is finally going to listen to its community? Well, me and all of my friends have grinded out the loot of this game....and i have to say, it gets tiring....and after so many raids and nightfalls and strikes and crucible matches.....im tried....but there is a easy solution to not only make players happy, but to add flare to the game. Add trade....trade market (public trading) and individual trades (private trading) Allow players to sell wepons, armor, ships and etc...or TRADE like i want to trade my thorn for a Valentine shader, Sugary Shell, and Oryx mask....u can have players choose lowest acceptable light level even....this would add to the loot table each individual player has. At the begging of TTK you said u wanted to make Destiny less RNG and allow players to earn loot....i for one think this coexist with what u said...Bungie, plz please pwz PLEASE! add trading into the game, give players a since of power, even have something in the tower that shows which player is the top marketer or something, its a great idea in the communities eyes. This is one step i believe you should take, just like i think wepon skins and other customizations should be added....MMO's are my pride, Bungie is my soul, and fps are fun as hell....don't hurt our hearts by keeping us wishing and wanting....feed us that Deej goodness and make our world a better place, i am just one member of this massive community who plays Destiny even when there is nothing new...i test legendary guns for best kill rate or dps and i farm crucible....im not really a pve guy....but hey, id love to trade my crucible exclusives for a strick exclusive.

An in game economy/ trade would add another level to this game
-
No because with the exotic system people will trade exotics and discover new ones so they will get them all.
-
Have you seen the results of this model on FIFA Ultimate Team, single Ronaldo cards were going for £50 on eBay back in 2010. A whole micro industry exists where people earn in game rewards and utilise a trading system to exchange hard money. Besides it encourages lazy gamers to not earn anything for themselves.
-
No way... I agree with others. It would open the door to cash for guns and armor.
-
Nope, why? One word: eBay

Trading is a way to show that you are a bad player, unless you sell exotics like xur.
-
Nope bad idea. The moment you do that people will find a way to charge money.
-
Hell no

Maybe between clan mates? Encouraging more people to use the clan system or being able to send gifts like in Diablo

Edited by Swiftlock: 2/19/2016 11:25:23 AMThere isn't enough loot in Destiny for a stable in-game economy. Proper MMO's have enormous amounts of items ranging from currencies, crafting materials, cosmetic items, tools, gear, etc, etc. This fuels an ongoing cycle of supply/demand that justifies a trading system. This game does not. People will just hand off their duplicates in exchange for whatever few items they need and be done with it. Wouldn't work.
-
No. If a player has a certain exotic that's in demand said person can just make tons from blueprints and trade a bunch.

IMO there's not enough inventory or variety of items to warrant it.
-
Yes since they removed reforging.
-
No, this game dos not ever need trading just so lazy players can get items easier or for players to try and sell them for real money or so players can try and find a way to dupe them like is done in just about ever other game that has trading.
-
Yes...i personally would not need it, as i always manage to get everything, i am just thinking of those unfortunate

2 RepliesYes, for players who can't get weapons like eyas luna or red specter. They should test it first with legendaries or just keep exotics from being tradeable.
