Warlock Armor piece that grants dash for evade
Warlocks need to have special evade. Titans have twilight and hunters have shade step. So what can we call the evade for warlocks and would it be a good idea.

Look up darkness concept art and look for soul tear. Something like that would be cool instead of an evade.

I play all three classes and think it'd be silly if a class as.. [i]Elegant[/i] as the Warlocks were to have a physical dodge. Gotta keep up with the space magic.

Then give Hunters melee triggered Overshields, and Angel of Light. Give Titans Blink then. Give both [i]the literal ability to revive oneself[/i]. So no, don't give Warlocks an evade. Two classes do something the other can't, plus a couple unique abilities.

Here's why they don't need a evade exotic, blink on 2 classes (stormcaller and voidwalker) now hunters yes they have both blink and evade but blink is exclusive to bladedancer and evade is exclusive to nightstalker now the helmet gravaton forfeit grants shadestep but it is still exclusive to nightstalker, now on to titans they don't have blink on any subclass so its logical to give them a exotic that grants evade to make up for it, now back to warlocks the only subclass that lacks a instant type of dodge maneuver is sunsinger and seeing how they have the only option in the game to come back from the dead on their own well that kinda makes up for not being able to dodge quickly enough

Edited by Ravontulet: 2/17/2016 6:43:52 PMI disagree - I main a warlock (though I have one of each) I use all subclasses. I think the warlock skillset is unique. They don't need any BS >evade< move. I don't even use blink on voidwalker. Also - Astrocyte Verse.

Why don't we give hunters and Titans the ability to self res or get fire bolts that burn for 14 seconds and while we're at it lets give them an over shield with crazy damage resistance that procs on melee? No.

Lets take a look at our stats Cheat death Blink mid super and zap people 6 miles away Shoot giant balls of void that decimate anything in their way That's our supers now melees: Burn people and get a shield Zap people a mile away (again) Do shit really fast or regenerate health/super on kill. Nades: A storm that'll scare the shit out of flag B Fire bolts (no need to explain) Axion bolts track people all the way from France to Korea Wear the ram and survive an extra shot from mida tlw and the 3 shot bodyshot from thorn. You must deal damage to enemies or die for it to recharge. That would be fair since a timer cooldown could be op.

9 RepliesHave another idea for Warlocks. Evade isn't in the class type. Warlocks aren't physical, they're mystical. Proposed change below. Void Walker: 10% damage reduction while energy drain is active. Sun Singer: all burns start overshield. (Must have melee charged)
