It's an emote that they added in for fun... Just like the enthusiastic carlton dance, thriller dance, and jump on it dance. Why is this any different?
After researching dab since that is a popular one, personally that dance is the new secret way to smell your pits stylishly.

1 ReplyPeople are free to spend their money on it but when Bungie aren't releasing any real content because they can make millions of a few emotes, I think people have a right to be angry.
-
People act like they're being forced to buy it. If people want them they'll buy them, if they won't then they won't.
-
19 RepliesShamelessly cashing in on content they didn't create. You say fun, I say cash grab. You're not even supporting the artist. It's intellectual theft.

The one game I got tea bagged in Crimson last night ... Guess what...
He had that emote
Guess what also...
I wasn't surprised
Why...
You can pay £5 for it
Which means...
He likes it
But how does this apply...
I didn't buy it
So?...
Thats it
-
3 RepliesBecause it's a shit dance, by a shit artis, for people with shit for brains.
-
Because people are calling out Bungie for making money off of it, yet we're the ones buying it... If people wanna spend $$ money on ingame stuff they can... No one's being forced to.

Edited by FlamingoSeeker: 2/10/2016 11:31:04 AMWhy hasn't there been much mention of the Napoleon Dynamite dance?

2 RepliesEdited by Braun: 2/10/2016 5:10:58 AMPeople use to get salty when someone is very succeeded

They're whiny ass bitches.

1 ReplyHotline bling? Oh you mean...
saltline bling
-
At least those are a lot better!

Some people don't realize it's making fun of drake and that retarded dance. I personally think it's awesome.
-
I think it's funny as hell. It's like all the memes, but now it's always accessible to my guardian. It doesn't mean I like the dance itself, I just like making fun of it.

3 RepliesEdited by whiskeychaser: 2/10/2016 4:13:02 AMThe song has the dumbest lyrics, horrible melody, and is sung by a Canadian. Next question.
-
If you like it, buy it, don't care, is your money. But Bungie continues to take money from the community without giving in return good quality content. I am not going to give Bungie more money until they deliver content.
-
Because I know know when the hotline bling ...... that basically means that the hate is coming
-
1 ReplyDon't care for it, i would love to see a cartwheel emote
-
4 RepliesI don't even know what this is. I must be getting old.
-
12 RepliesThere are more important things to focus on than making more emotes. But apparently making money is more important than making customers happy with your product.

You used to call me on my cell phone
Raid night when you need my light
I'd tell you but...
...ever since I left the city you...
The emote is the topic. PVE players feeling ignored and taken for granted is the issue.

3 RepliesThe dance is fine. I'm just over the song..I literally hear like 8 times to and from work on the radio..
-
1 Reply
jump on it dance.
it's called the apache
-
5 RepliesBecause I don't like irritating, talentless idiots invading my game space. I like the things I like and the things I hate to be separate. I don't wanna be reminded of the poor state of the music industry or that irritating song that seems inescapable every time I'm trying to enjoy game time. There's nothing remotely iconic about it, why it's being added, I have no idea whatsoever.

4 RepliesI don't care about the emote, I just hate the song. It's the most overplayed garage.
