How to fix snipers
More flinching and less body shot damage. Should be a 3 body shot kill. I am force to use a sniper in almost all game modes

If bungie does what yours saying destiny would die! Learn ur playing style and stay away from the sniping lanes! I'm tired of weapon being constantly ruined because of scrubs who don't know how to adapt to another player style its call get skills! Or go play call of duty!

4 RepliesWhat they really need to do is get rid of ALL the aim assist. I'm sick of guys being able to fly through the air and no scope "head shot" you.... It is just a complete pansy was of playing this game. Snipers are for scum that like to hide like little ladies..... Man up and get out there and mix it up with the big boys!

What you're feeling isn't an influx of snipers people. I can't remember whether I saw it on a YT video or Reddit post, but the number of people who use shot guns and snipers have barely changed since year one. The reason you're feeling as though snipers are "in" right now is because of the SBMM. Generally the higher the skill of the player, the more sniper use there will be. Ever since skill has been prioritized in MM you've been going up against higher skilled people (for the most part), therefore more snipers. And honestly, remove aim assist? I don't think most of you know how impossible this game would be without it. Try consistently landing shots on your teammate. You won't land many shots. There's no aim assist there.

Critical hit takes you out of scope zoom maybe? Seems like a fair trade off if they actually need to be fixed.

Flinching will -blam!- PvE up, whatever they do will effect it heavily. I'm not saying it because I use( I rek with the thesan ), I just don't see anything good happening.

No leave them alone the way to fix snipers is buy buffing Shotguns, fusions and side arms. But I was here long enough to see s nerf coming.

3 Replieshow about a helmet perk that will prevent one shot kills to the head :) it can come at the expense of bug penalty (maybe -2 agility or something)

I vote for no changes outside if a complete lack of body shot damage to make headshots required for the use of the weapon. Many unskilled players simply camp and aim for the body with defiance of Yasmin, 1k or any other sniper often not hitting a single headshot in a game or perhaps hitting a few purely out of luck.

3 RepliesShot damage is more than fine and flinch on snipers should be removed and replaced with descope.

2 RepliesThe damage is fine. Just make it so there are only high zoom scopes and significantly increase flinch when shot. On top of flinch, when you're shot your accuracy should be reduced.

Big handling nerf plus all aim assist cut 50%.

I think the flinch is good as is, it really is, but the body shot damage needs to be nerfed drastically.. High impact snipers should do 105-110 Low impact should do 90-95
