Why don't you infuse the ugly raid armor ?
Everyone I raid people are using that disgusting hideous armor
I've infused everything but iron banner arms and chest cause I need them on my hunter and warlock and am waiting to see how the exclusive gauntlets are
Iron banner gear is best looking

I use two sets of armor on my Titan. Iron Banner set for pretty much anything and then the Raid Gear for the raid only. Raid gear brings me up to 316 and Iron Banner gear just drops me to like 310-314 depending on what weapons I use.

My raid gear is what I use in the raid, based on the perks it's best for the raid, outside of the raid I tend to use trials gear

3 RepliesUnless you like the looks of the raid gear, I see it as nothing other then infusion material. Everyone and their mom wears it cause it most likely gets them the closest to 320. I for one do not care about reaching 320 asap, I'd rather find armour that not only makes me look different from every Joe Schmoe out there but also benefits me in all play modes. I can't tell you how many people with crappy stat rolls on their raid armour keep it just so they can be higher light level. Pretty sure considering the only places it matters is in the raid, trials and iron banner. I'd rather look how I want to look, have stat rolls want to have, then just settle for something cause it makes me a higher light level. I sit at 316 right now on my hunter and I haven't done hard mode or challenges in a while. I'm in no rush, this game already lacks content so why not prolong it as long as you can. Cause really what else is there to do once you hit 320?

1 ReplyIf I could infuse up my VoG gear I would in a heartbeat. (For titan) Also doesn't help I'm not crazy about any of the looks of current titan gear.

1 ReplyEdited by ewiz06: 1/21/2016 2:09:32 PMThere are a few reasons: 1) We want our light level to be as close to max as possible and don't have multiple duplicate 320 pieces of armor 2) There is not much PvE content that some people run outside of the Raid so it makes sense to equip armor that will help in the Raid 3) Some people don't run much PvP so they don't worry about stat rolls that help in Crucible 4) Some people like to feel as if they just left the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History and pocketed half of the dinosaur collection to wear

I use and keep two sets of gear Raid gear i keep and infuse up Raid gear has its own set of perks relevant to raiding IB gear same thing i keep and infuse up Comes in handy during Crucible, IB etc Whatever im playing I wear that gear

I have infused all my raid gear into others don't need the percs don't need reload for the malice and the agility perc either since bones of eao came to year 2

I think almost every armor piece in TTK is trashy looking. The raid gear is horribe.

Depending on light level difference, stat roll, and utility in raid. I plan on infusing my exotic class item on each character to 320

I infuse everything into either Iron Banner or Dead Orbit. Sort of an overall call I made when TTK came out not to be too precious about infusion. Probably a light level or two down from it but so what.

I infuse the Titan stuff every time. I think it looks hideous. Hunter armor is tolerable and the warlock stuff is pretty well hidden under those robes so who cares about that.
