Destiny Elitists.
Used to think Destiny had a pretty good community for endgame content, till now. Now that RNG has finally blessed me enough to get up to 309, I have been trying to get into the King's Fall hard raid. The problem though is wherever I go for "Recruitment" to get into a fireteam all I see is "MUST be 315+" "Must be 319-320" "Must have all challenge emblems" "Message me your light. Oh you're under 317, can't invite you" "If you are not 315+ do not even think about messaging me noobs". ANd on and on the list goes.
What happened to the community? Every elitist out there was 310 or lower when the hard mode came out, so you had to do it when you were not at 315.

wanna know why? These guys who asks for 319-320 are probably who got denied out of Trials of Osiris group because of their k/d so they feel the need to inflict that pain onto other people....in PvE :)

I hate mentioning I'm 320 cuz I get blasted with invitations, I'd rather have people find out so I don't get chosen before another

When I go on LFG, I ask for higher light at say Oryx because you might get someone who knows what they're doing and will help the team more than hurt it. If your a first timer, try the100.io. Great place to group up for a hard raid fresh run if your new.

Lfg has been that way since the start. Find a clan. It's much better.

Then find a new game to play, otherwise quit bitching and put yourself out there. I use to lie about my light level when I remade my Hunter. I did the hard raid once as a 286, and played flawless up to Golgoroth. Sometimes you just have to convince the group you'll do fine. If you've never completed hard mode, then you'll probably never find a group hahahaha

12 RepliesSorry buddy. But it gets old when you jumo across the ships 1st try and have to wait 10 mins for 2 other kids to cross. It gets old when you need to snipe the top knight on totems, kill the witch, and destroy more adds EVERY single time you run totems. It gets old when you are the one that out DPS anyone else on Warpreist but you have to take the aura cuz the other kid cant EVERY time. Etc. Etc. Etc. If I dont know you. Im not running raid with you because you finally hit 309. Im trying to get that shit done quick so I can hit 320. Good day.

In the time it took to make this post you could have made a recruitment post with your requirements and had a team stop being a crybaby you obviously know how to post stop being scared or lazy it's your own fault

1 ReplyI join 315+ groups all the time and I can assure you that if you want a quick and efficient raid run that takes an hour then you should join one. People who ask for 315+ want good players because most good players are 315+ now. And, for those who are gonna say, "Well, it's RNG. Being 315+ doesn't mean you're good, it means you are lucky." This is [b][i][u]FALSE[/u][/i][/b]. Anyone who played the raid 3 times every week since it came out will be 315+. I guarentee that if Bungie shows a statistic about 315+ characters to less than 315+ players, you would see way more KF raid completions for the 315+ group. I'm not saying groups with 310-315 can't do the raid quickly. Why, just last night I was in a group running KF HM and I was the only 315+. We beat everything in one try except oryx (that took 3). I'm just saying that 315+ guarentees a quick run. In the end, you have nothing to complain about because you could always start your own group :)

It's a great community, you just see the not so great part of the community on most popular forum posts

If you're on Xbox 1 and me . You can always run normal mode a couple of times also to learn the mechanics of the raid and if you're lucky get gear to boost your light. Hope you have a mike? Makes it so much easier. Look in recruitment sec of the forums I see tons of posts for norm mode or make your own.

I get not wanting someone in there to far below 310 because woth the first few drops you should be able to get up... hell i have 1 completed run and 1 oryx on hard on my hunter done to this point due to even my own group splitting and playing with such elitists. That being said some of my clan is still cool and they dont do that elitist shit i myself have no issue... i dont typically like to bar people... thats the games job not mine... but this community has always been toxic... you just on occassion get lucky

+319 to +320 is absolutely rediculous +313 to +315 is fine in my book though

make your own team. elitism is extremely common in games like this so get used to it.
