Farming Nightfalls? (Best Treads farming method)
I've heard people say about using Nightfalls for strike specific loot but I tried this the other night and my fireteam just kept getting blues after the initial run. Is this possible or has it been patched?

5 RepliesIts still possible. Farming it means keep completing it over and over again, not like the omnigul farm or anything like that. The way it works is that the higher the diffeculty of the strike, the more changes you have to get the specific loot. So nightfall is the best changes you have, but its rng so 10 runs doesnt mean you will get like 1 or more.

2 RepliesSome people do it for experience on their sub classes as it is heroics strike and the experience gained from it is like double than what you get from a normal strike

4 RepliesI've heard that if your using three of coins it takes away from your chances of getting strike specific loot. Not sure if it's true or not but just a thought.

1 ReplyI ran the nightfall on all 3 characters this week and got another treds upon stars, and 2 different flayer mantles (solar and void). I was pretty pumped since I've never gotten any of the mantles from that strike and ended up with 2 in a matter or 20 minutes. Always seem to get the loot you want when you aren't trying for it!

10 RepliesYou can still farm for strike specific loot during nightfalls. The chances of dropping the loot are higher than a normal strike.
