Need help naming a couple aliens
My brother and I are writing a si_fi novel and we need help coming up with names for two alien species.
The first species are ten feet tall, hairy, and really aggressive. They live on a hostile cold planet and live in tribes headed by a chief. And the weapon they use the most is a huge battle ax that shoots plasma bolts out the end.
You can't use wookie or wampa because star wars already uses those. We tried brutes but decided we didn't like. Don't even think sasquach, bigfoot, or yeti.
The second species are lizards as big as the average sized human. They live underground on a desert planet with an intense sun and heat. But when they are not on their home planet they have to wear a visor to protect their light sensitive eyes. They are scrappy and always ready to fight and most commonly use a lance that also shoots plasma bolts out the end.
Please come up with something creative and your help will be much appreciated.
