Quitting is Ruining Iron Banner
Anyone else noticed an incredible spike in quitting players? Every single match I've played thus far has been gutted before the match really began. Borderline unplayable.

Barely run into any so far. Saw one guy quit right at the start on cathedral. Only been put into one lopsided match (which we damn near pulled off, but oh well...). I quit on a match because my connection turned to shit halfway through, but that's really been about it.

3 RepliesI've never had a problem with this until last night. As soon as we were down or the other team was down by 1,000 the people started leaving. A quadruple nova bomb kill on a heavy spawn and all of a sudden the tide shifts. I was never from favor of a penalty for people who quit, but it has gotten so much worse that I think it's time to have that conversation.

I think it has a lot more to do with lag other than losing, even though that's still a factor. I've had many people leave simply because there were too many red bars and it's very frustrating playing against that.

I am guessing I was with a five man team last night.. Cause they left the shit out of me. So I spent the rest of the match running around like a Benny hill short....mercy rule comes in at 12000 fyi.

I think error codes are ruining iron banner. Been running as 6 and we can't go two matches without someone getting booted to main menu with an error code.

Yeah, seen people leave with in a couple of minutes. The loot is the same either way, quitters be lame.

5 RepliesIt could be rage, it could be lag. Ib has been super laggy imo lately. But a way to fix it would be a system like League of legends, if you quit too many matches, you will get suspended temporary from joining matches

Id rather people quit so mercy gets called and I'm getting exp for a 3 minute game rather than 10. Just in it for the loot anyway.

yeah. i'm to the point now that i don't care anymore. if i'm just not feeling it, i'll leave. with this iron banner it's either: join into a game that your team is losing by 8000. so much lag that an entire clip from Auto Rifle doesn't even register half of my teammates are just sitting in corner AFK my teammates are level/light 250 and just getting destroyed every 1.5 seconds. the same stupid map OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER ...(dungeons) in all honesty, this is the first Iron Banner where i've EVER maxxed out the loser medallion thing at 5. it's happened about 6 or 7 times so far and i'm only done with one character.
