Destiny started as a fun and exciting new game, endless possibilities and a thriving community. However, the game is a hollow shell, masked with added game modes and ridiculous mechanics. The gunplay and fluidity are top notch, however that is not enough to keep us playing
The introduction of E-Verse trading has completely corrupted this game. This game should of been epic, instead it has been promoted as a mmo, but really is a product of corruption and consumerism. The mass will continue to play, but not realize they are participating in what is wrong with all online games. The continued development of an addicting mechanic similar to Vegas. You need to wake up and realize you are being used, to feed a corrupt network of developers. If the lead story designer left, you should know now, that before it was released it was already going in the wrong direction. You want to change games like this, you must first understand this kind of game will ruin your personal life and continue gaming towards a path of consumerism. We must band together and provide consumer activism in our community, to protect our fellow gamers from purchasing games with false advertisement. These companies should not be allowed to deceive us into thinking a product we purchase is something it is really not. Destiny should of never been sold to be redeveloped later, and forced players to continue to purchase upgrades to continue the experience. Wake up fellow gamers and take a week off from playing this game, and you will see what I am telling you. This game is corrupting you and our fellow gamers, into thinking this is what we want in our community. This is only the beginning, we must stop this type of deception from continuing.

1 ReplyYour post is headache inducing. Paragraphs are you friend. But seriously, stop giving Bungivision your money, if you don't like their product or conduct. If everyone who is pissed off with them, stopped slavishly throwing money at them, they would have to sit up and pay attention.

Oh no cosmetic items arrrgh *falls slowly but lifeless onto the ground

He's right! We need a game so lame that we want to play it! Only by playing a game we hate can we know for sure that our free will is being preserved!

1 ReplyMaking posts is nice, but the only way to actually get your point across is to step away from what amounts to an average game. Average PvE experience and average PvP experience. Bungie tried to be all things to everyone and in the end they created the perfect average game.

Micro transactions are the way of the future. Here is the wake up call for the gaming community. Activision acquires Candy Crush and company for $5 billion. Micro transactions are why. That company made ~$500 million per quarter on it's various "crush" mobile game micro transactions. By way of comparison, Disney bought Star Wars for $4 billion. Yes, you read that right. According to Activision, the micro transaction business of Candy Crush was worth $1 billion more (25% more) than Star Wars. [facepalm] Get ready, pay only $XX and get heavy ammo supply drops in the crucible or on a raid ...

8 RepliesCorrupt? That how we call making money this days? Is so sad that people are so invested in bashing a company because is making money of a very, very profitable game. In United States at least that's why people get in to business to make $$$$ KA SHIN!!!!!!! Just quit go play Witcher I heard they got free DLC and shit so broke ass people don't be bitch about the game being to expensive. Maybe you should change hobbies, since gaming is to expensive. I bet you are butt hurt because you don't like how people that have money to spend can have cool in game items that give no advantage at all in the game. The lvl 25 boost means absolutely nothing. They still have to grind to lvl 40 and get all the gear with good attack and defence numbers.

7 RepliesThat's not corruption. It's a change in the business model.

It's not corruption. It's business. It's called a gap plan. You started with the reason why; the majority of good players dont join anymore. And, by good, I mean a good and decent person to play with. What you're seeing are gap plans being executed to try and boost new registered users(lvl 25 boost) and utilization(SRL) of old users. They're not addressing the core issues(I wish I knew why), which is why it's failing.

2 RepliesSo you're upset that a complete stranger can pay to skip about 3 hrs of content? That's sad.

11 RepliesEdited by THYAN: 12/27/2015 4:48:58 PMI didn't completely read over your post because of the punctuation/formatting, but I'll comment on what I did see. I don't see how getting an automatic level 25 Guardian is bad. At this point in the game, where the level cap is 40 and Light Level 320, level 25 is a drop in a very large bucket.

In destiny 2 there will be a level 38 gap plan lol
