What's a good auto rifle that I can use in PvP? And where can I get it from ie: crucible, strikes, vendor etc...

Seeing all these midas in crucible constantly made me not want to use mine anymore for a while... so I decided to switch to a different weapon type in the meanwhile.
any AR except zhalo.
1 ReplyUhh... Hardscope a lane with a fast Rate of Fire sniper and spam body shots. It'll sound like a very slow auto rifle :D

Suros

I love my autos. In general, low to medium impact autos do the best job. High impact work better in pve. My favorite legendaries are Arminus D (hakke), Suros ARI-41, and the doctrine of passing. Favorite exotics are Hardlight Hardlight and Hardlight. Seriously though no fall of damage, it is my favorite.

1 ReplyI've been really happy with antipodal hindsight. It's very stable and has good impact. Have no idea where it dropped from though.
-
1 ReplyI think hard light is best auto, tell me if I'm stupid ? (Not much of an auto guy) I've only kept hard light and Supercell

-
Shingen-E. Wait no... Use the suros. It's an exotic to get lucky.
-
1 ReplyTry getting atheons epilogue again and use it in regular crucible until you get doctrine of passing or something else like it.
-
Lately, I've seen the Doctrine of Passing killing me a lot (for an auto rifle) lately in the crucible. You get it from Trials of Osiris. The Paleo Contact from Dead Orbit vendor is ok, too. Souros regime and monte carlo are pretty good, too (haven't tried hard light Y2 yet)

Recently got the Dead Orbit AR in a package and I love it. Also red spectre is good depending on perks (crucible drop)

MONTE CARLO

1 ReplyThe Monte Carlo is actually the best.
-
doctrine of passing honestly has good rolls any other auto rifle just pray for RNG gods to give you one with good stability and rodeo perk.
-
7 RepliesUp for anything. But no one can get it anymore. I think I'm the very last player who has it.
-
Doctorine of passing from trials it destroys a persons health

Supercell and Hard Light

Monte Carlo, SUROS Regime, and Doctrine of Passing all fill the higher RoF lower impact auto rifle archetype, and are my preferred PvP primaries

I infused it into something else soon after I got it. Monte Carlo is good. Suros Regime is just a little less good. Both are fun to use.

The Arminius-D is a low budget doctrine, and with the right perks it can melt people.
-
I've had good gameplay with the NM AR. I got a drop roll with Icarus, but it's sure fun to use with high stability.

Doctrine of Passing

8 RepliesEdited by NYDIBS: 12/24/2015 1:47:13 PMI've been using red spectre, it's not the best but I don't care anymore, i'll use my best load outs for trials antipodal hindsight is really good, it's a legendary version of suros regime, on my warlock
-
I have been using the arminus-d I don't have the greatest perks but it's a fun weapon.
-
It depends on what you're looking for RoF wise and how you play. There's more variables to look at other than what someone else thinks is the best. My go to Auto Rifle is Arminius-D, I have 3 of them, I like them a lot someone else may think they're bad but it's all opinions. Play around with some and form your own, you'll be better off.

I hated PvP up until recently and just started to play better. But I find my k/d is better with hardlight, but Monte Carlo is a close second. I like suros regime as well with focus fire, with the range it has and placing accurate head shots it does well for me, just play the middle ground.
