Hell I've been playing team snipers in halo all day. The whole mode is snipers only with unlimited ammo and I'm hitting far less headshots than I do in destiny. Most shots everyone fired miss even. It takes little to no skill to snipe in destiny with far too much ammo. In CoD and battlefield not only do you sacrifice your primary to snipe you also have hold breath and sway and leading shots and bullet drop. In halo and gears there's still less aim assist and these are power weapon pickups with one on each map... You have to fight for them. In destiny you're given way too much ammo, too much aim assist, etc. TL;DR sniping is too easy in destiny. Either give even less special ammo to make people use primaries more or reduce the aim assist severely PS if you really don't notice this difference after playing other games you're just lying to yourselves. Maybe you're mad cuz you felt you fancied yourself a good sniper and you feel slighted. Well if you were a good sniper I'm pretty sure you see the skill difference in other games immediately. Not saying you can't be great at sniping in Destiny just saying the difficulty curve is lacking too much so that pretty much anyone who sucks at sniping in other games (such as myself) can pick one up and do well making the game far too campy. Ignore the firefly Kill it's the fact that he shoots way closer to the guy in back and now where near the guy in front in the frame he shoots yet still lands this headshot. I end up doing shit like this all the time while under heavy fire and knowing I didn't deserve the kill. Why can't people admit that maybe their shot was a little BS? Edit 2: Yup. Lol anyone who has to look up stats is a pleb. And I know this isn't pleading my case well but there's a reason for all those body shot kills... Let's just say they were 1 shot body shot kills... In my defense this was pre TTK when literally everyone was doing it with Efrideets Spear (believe it or not it was harder to hit bodies with that than heads with 1000 yard stare. The thing has like 0 aim assist as snipers should. The body shotting was cheap though at least that was removed unlike super high aim assist. Go check aim assist on Efrideets compared to thousand yard stare. That's how snipers should be (minus final round)
