Because usually with kids you end up getting this constant audio stream of consciousness. Here is an excerpt from a minute of starting off a Raid run with your average young human:
"hey, I only have 97 scout rifle rounds lef..oh my god guys, that centurion almost knocked me off. this run is going to be so OP. there's this kid at my school that told me we could find a chest in the left totem room, we should look. oh my god guys, these shields are never going to go down. hey, what is everyone's favorite primary to use? I really need some heavy amm...holy cow, that guy totally just super dunked the orb. do y'all ever wonder why the poison gas hurts you even though we have on space suits. hehe, that's so dumb. oh my god, that firefly explosion was awesome. does anyone know where moldering shards come from? YYEESSSSS! guys, I just got some heavy ammo. which sword do you think is the best? my cousin has all three of the swords and he told me that the void is the best, but I think that is because his middle school's colors are purple which means he should probably not like it because their football team totally sucks this year but I can't tell him that because then he would be mad at me and my mom would find out and..does anyone need to go invisible right now? My smoke grenade just recharged. I love to make other people go invisible..oh my god, what if we could have these in real life."

So true... So true..

I'm fine with having younger players join as long as they are mature enough

Hey. 14 year old kid here. I want to get that sh*t done. Ran relic on oryx hard for the first time ever. And had no stuff ups and didn't talk 24/7 into my mic.
-
Hey, not all kids are like that. I've LFGd with many kids who actually want to get it done.
Ive also had my share of Brits that take the CP and leave, but I don't boot all Brits.
11 RepliesThe worst is when you get invited to a team of squeakers... Holy shit. That convo x5. And when you join they ridicule you and ask about all your gear and your setup. Is rather punch myself to death with my controller.

Ops post is a common occurance when doing lfg.

So. Much. This.....

I once had a raid team totally fall apart because 2 high school kids were too busy screaming at each other over who was better at football.
-
Other kids make me feel ashamed to be under 17, that is why I barely ever talk whenever I am playing with adults.

Edited by TheDirtyDee91: 12/3/2015 4:55:48 PMThere are some annoying, immature kids but there are also plenty of them that are as mature as us adults. I got invited to a fireteam at the tower like always and, for the first and only time, joined. It was a puppy of kid asking for trials members. I said sure, I'll try out trials. He ended up being an annoying kid with childish play. Very impatient and uncoordinated. I ended up riding it out trying to help him improve but as a kid of his demeanor, he didn't take much from my advice. There are cool, chill great playing pups though. I've finished the raids pretty quickly with a 15 year old. No need to stereotype them. If they are the immature, annoying kind, give them the boot, but give them a chance. The better mannered kids deserve it.

1 Replyshould be all one sentence in caps.

They just talk entirely too much and half the time you dont understand what they are trying to say. I dont mind if they are mature, some kids are pretty decent players and the ones that dont annoy the shit out of me will stick around. I will play with my 13 year old brother and he can be too much sometimes, but I gotta say hes 100xs better than my 27 year old brother lol.

Wait is this counting teenagers or is it just 12 and under

DID YOU KNOW THAT IF MY SCOUT RIFLE HAD TRIPLE TAP I COULD HAVE 129 BULLETS???!!!

6 RepliesEdited by Phi-7: 12/4/2015 2:57:06 AMErm, I thought it was a good idea to update the team? Hell, I still compulsively say variations of "reloading" from L4D2, as it was best to inform your team that you can't fire momentarily. Edit: Still say it when I'm alone too, proceeding to wonder if its healthy to be talking to myself.

15 RepliesI'm a "kid", 13, and don't squeal like that. Rather, I have a deeper voice than most kids, and I prefer to run with an adult group that's social as I always join in when they're laughing. I have a great time with a group like that, while squeakers do tend to have no discipline whatsoever.

1 ReplyI'm 13,, I act mature and just try to enjoy and play the game like you

I only do it on Trials; and that is because their parents can tell them to get off in the middle of a ticket and I hate that junk. However, I usually just play for bounties anyway unless I enjoy the map. HM can get annoying too, but PvE isn't that big of a deal and anyone (regardless of age) can have a weak resolve in raids and back out after wiping a few times. I don't mind 'em when I have the time or don't really need anything because I remember being just out if my "squeaker" phase when I first got an Xbox. Don't be a dick if you didn't ask for a full team of abults. And remember that the word "mature" is actually a relative term.
Destiny is also rated T if you haven't forgotten.
It wasn't my raid group but they asked me to post of the forums for a 6th I got "312 Titan" I thought "great, we needed a Titan" He joins and is immediately classified as a "low talker squeaker" We played with him anyway but he got kicked after making 2 mistakes He said "sorry guys" as he left the fireteam himself The leader said "hey hey hey it's ok man just go watch some YouTube videos or something" I felt even worse for the kid lol
we beat it with a warlock
