Black spindle is BS!!!
Tried it 10 times. I'm 310 and my 2 friends were 310 and 315 and we couldn't even come close. I don't understand why it's so damn impossibly hard. Please tell me what I was doing wrong.

I have helped two groups get it (still don't have the ship tho, it must be rare) and one group was around 295 and I was 310+ took two tries, the other two times I did it with all 310+ we did it first try. I watched a couple guys vids on YouTube about how to solo it (watch sc_slayerage) and just try to do what it like they do, and anything your team does it just icing on the cake. Hope that makes sense

1 ReplyNot sure how you couldn't beat it with three, I two manned it with a friend when we were both under 310, raid weapons help, or any guns with extra taken damage, all we did was have him focus on the boss and me on adds, can't remember what class he was on, but I was using stormcaller. Get the blights and captains/knights down as fast as possible, and don't rush it, you should have plenty of time once you get there. Both times Ive done that mission we stayed in the hallway where you first go in the room, only left for ammo runs and using stormtrance to clear out big groups of adds.

I 2 manned it with a friend both of us being lower than 300 light (me being 294 and him being 283)... you're just doing the entire thing wrong somehow

Last room with the boss is level based so the higher level the more challenging the enemies

You need a team with all three exotic swords one for each player. Void and solar work the boss over will act controls ads. Once boss is down finish off add it isn't very hard

Edited by Impurity41: 11/30/2015 4:22:29 AMFocus on ads then the boss. My team had 1 guy on the boss then the ads, 1 guy on ads, and one guy solely on boss. The main thing is time. Get to the boss room at 6 minutes and you will stress less. My fastest was when my team got to the boss with 7:30 left. We flew through that. [spoiler]^this is now. My first completion was with 280-295 players. 10 sec to spare. Now we get around 30 to spare.[/spoiler]

Exotic swords are GODLY for this mission! If you have at least two people with either dark drinker or raze lighter, you can just go up to the boss and unleash hell with the swords! You'll die a few times but the damage is insane!

Must be unlucky or bad communication. I did it with 2 lfg Russian guys on the second time it was the daily and we were all about 290 range.

Me and my friends found it easy. The 3 of us are Titans so we used HoS and wiped most of the adds then killed the boss using snipers. One of my friends already had black spindle so he used that

One on the boss with sleeper, the other 2 on ads. Take out the blights right away.

1 ReplyTwo words. Sleeper simulant. One guy downs the boss the other two take out blights and adds.

Hit the boss as much as possible right when you go in...then have someone focus just on him, another focus on eliminating all blights...and the other guy focus on the majors...it is key to take care of blights and take the Knights and the bigger cabal guys out ASAP...they do the most damage to you! Clear them and then help kill boss if he's not already dead...then if done correctly ypy have plenty of time to clean up the psions. ...ignore the psions until the blights and major enemies are all gone......oh and the solar exotic sword does wonders not only against the boss but gets you to the final room super fast....if done right you will have 2+ minutes left when you beat it
