Black spindle is BS!!!
Tried it 10 times. I'm 310 and my 2 friends were 310 and 315 and we couldn't even come close. I don't understand why it's so damn impossibly hard. Please tell me what I was doing wrong.

Most important thing dont as a team all die its like 20-25 odd secs of nothing.. Also blights right away or u get overwelmed

2 RepliesDon't be fooled by whoever tells you 290+ isn't needed, you would still struggle with a team of 300s. 240 is recommended for the story mission itself, the taken are not part of that story, it's a completely separate event. Coordination is important but so are levels. Now if you want to ignore people who tell you 290 because they've tried it, that's on you.

Use Supers as much as possible and dps the boss. Sunbreaker titans are really helpful and so are void hunters for orb generation and also for the damage perk on the boss. When I did it we had two sunbreakers and one stormcaller. Was pretty much constant supers and we did it with almost two minutes left.

Take out all the blights and do dps to the boss with raid weapons like ToM the raid sniper and the raid rocket launcher or the raid lmg or sleepersimulent

3 RepliesEdited by Jynn: 11/30/2015 10:10:30 AMVoid swords and solar swords with offensive supers 1.pop a heavy synth at mission start 2.when you start the first room, chain supers and use your swords, goal is to get to the boss fight asap 3. Second room have void swords rush the three wizards, other two spam supers and take out the blights 4. Boss fight, clear all adds and blights. DO NOT SHOOT THE BOSS 5. Once the adds are clear, everyone at the exact same time rush the boss with your swords. Goal is to melt him all the way down . If you don't it's no big deal 6A. If he is down clear all adds and blights...mission over 6B. If he isn't down, clear all adds and blights and again DON'T SHOOT THE BOSS. Once adds are down finish off the boss at the same time...go to 6a Where most ppl struggle is thinking they have to quick kill the boss right away, but there is too much chaos... organize the chaos. This is the method I use and I have yet to fail, take countless clan mates through every time it comes up

Xbox One? Add me and we will get it 1st try as long as u have an exotic sword and half a brain. Method is simple now u should have the rooms and enemies memorized. Room 1: blight>knights>centeurian Time = 45seconds Room 2: blights>wizards>snipers Time = ~1:30 Hall: Time 20seconds Boss room: Titan pops blessing of light [b]ON[/b] the boss. Then everyone spams their exotic swords heavy attack. Dip in and out of the bubble to maintain an oversheild with the titan being extra sure to stay alive and maintain the bubble. Raze Lighter is best for this followed by Dark Drinker. Boss should be killed in ~30 seconds leaving you about 6 minutes to clear the room.

Make sure to have at least 5 Mins when you get to Dreviks. The Trick is at the end to FOCUS ADDS FIRST!!! Seriousy this goes over peoples heads so often it's astounding. You get 4 Waves of Adds and thats it. Even the Blights don't count as enemies so dwat. As you kill adds between respawns you get windows to actually damage the boss. You may not realize how much damage is being done until you have a minute left and you think its a Wipe then all of a sudden Dreviks is dead and you are able to wipe the rest of the adds seconds afterwards. If this daily shows up again in the future I am always around to help people do this on Xbox One.

You can do it. Watch some videos. Me and my friends did it on the second week. And we are not the best group. But we worked together and finished it with no raid gear or swords. This weekend I helped some friends and we breezed through it. Keep trying bud. Good luck next time it's available.
