Laggers and cheaters run rampant in crucible. People also go 8-0 and get screwed out of their last match. They call your bluff and its a constant reminder of bungie laziness in doing anything. The immune damage taken players reach the top of the scoreboard(perks of cheating or bad internet) I report on a daily basis and still see the same person doing the same thing.
How are we suppose to refer someone with pvp when this is going on. Bad first impression don't you think. I'm asking for stricter reporting process because what we have now is poor. At least a step up with a description box to type what the issue is.
Edit: I'm not asking for name and shame either. When the hammers do fall the cheaters whine on the forums exposing themselves.
Edit 2: I know Cozmo that the data collected from the report are key in catching these violators but it minimal action. We need more regulation on these offenses. There has to be a better way then "oh, just tell us their cheating", the system is not working to the fullest. The Trails of Osiris is where the pressure should be most, a lot of legit players that deserve their lighthouse trip get cheated out of it everytime.
Edit 3: servers went down and multiple complaints of trials and pvp games getting booted and nothing in return, when is destiny get better servers!! This is ridiculous.
Edit 4: I call your bluff Cozmo. Bungie will do absolutely nothing about their servers and the cheater. Until proven otherwise.

They must have recently unbanned the "hundreds"...this is rediculous again. Blatant cheating. Come on bungie...WHAT THE HELL.

Often lagging is just a matter of crappy internet connection and having long-distance hosts in matchmaking. It's usually not an attempt to cheat. But when it is, Bungie should be able to get online traffic data to back up reports of cheating. And I'm sure that takes time. Imagine you live in the U.S., playing Destiny, and one day you play a PvP match with someone in Europe as the host, and the connection to the host is rather bad. Then someone reports you for cheating. Then you get banned. Would you be upset? I certainly would. My point is you can't just throw around the ban hammer left and right like it's a game of Whack-A-Mole. I bet it takes some actual thought from real people to make those decisions. And I'd rather them take it seriously than just ban everyone because you feel like it.

Bump. Went 8-0 and got log switched in the last match in trials last week, the cheaters got to go to Mercury and I got a 300 ghosts from my gold package. Haven't played trials since. Maybe if Bungie fixes the issues I'll give it another shot, but I doubt that will every happen.

Bump. Fix ur pvp connection shit, bungo

1 ReplyI'm just gonna keep reporting my friends for being helpful, friendly, and highly skilled... Maybe one day.

54 RepliesReporting in-game is still the best way to give us the data we need to restrict cheaters from playing. There is a new cheater report form here you can use if unable to report in-game.

This is why I don't play trails everytime us English men have to go acorss the pond bad things happen and that results in a loss of some kind be it connection, a player from my team, not being able to pick up ammo, or a lost on my card when I haven't even played a match.

1 Replywhy have faith in Bungie at all?

1 Replyevery single attempt i do on the 7th match we get a lagging team or we get ddosed or we suddenly have bad connection ourselves or something and it annoys me every time and even if we have our mercy when we inevitably lose that match because we're all pissed off we either quit or play poorly and on the rare occasion we don't get pissed off we just meet another team of cheaters and lose again making flawless impossible

1 Replyyou nailed it. this is exactly how i feel.

They dont care about the state of crucible itself, according to the forums leading most expert on Destiny.......so why would they care if people cheat in it?

1 ReplyI'm with you on this, I've came up against some bad ddos attackers and I've confronted them, and I'll I get is smarmy replys like 'DEAL WITH IT! Or 'AND WHAT!! The cheek!

2 RepliesAm I wrong or is Bungie the company that unleashed the Ban Hammer in Halo games (Halo 3 anybody?) prior to 343 taking over the franchise? If they could do it once why not again? Ban Hammer was brutal if you got caught doing something stupid including idling in PvP games.

1 ReplyThe whole Crucible team should be able to vote on a lagger and then he gets booted, but only if his connection is red to prevent them from just kicking the whole team.

Edited by gallp13: 11/27/2015 11:53:44 PMI don't know why but I rarely see cheaters and incidence of lag has been down over last month. Even IB was lower in lag last week which was pleasant I report red bars in game so perhaps Bungie clean up is working or maybe it just luck.

1 ReplyEdited by The Dude: 11/27/2015 5:47:15 PMThis wouldn't be a problem with private servers. We could kick and ban ourselves Also: if we just plain don't like somebody...we would never have to see them in our game again. You never know...people might just start behaving.
