A 13 year old boy defended himself from a home invasion. His mother kept a loaded pistol in the house. Boy feared for his life and fired at the attackers fatally injuring one. He then followed the suspects and continued firing at their moving car before calling his mother and the police once he felt he was no longer in danger. Thoughts? I can't imagine what could have happened to this boy if he wasn't armed. Edit: the suspect that was killed had a long history of drug and violent crime.
