Actually you don't cry baby. Iron banner, nightfall, weekly crucible, especially in trials. And why would you not want to raid anyway. That's a major part of this game

some people have hit 310+ without touching the raid. you just need to get really lucky with RNGesus

some of my highest gear is from either getting a good 310 weapon from a drop in a nightfall rewards or I got a 316 piece of armor from iron banner. I've never went through and done a full raid. I've always joined at oryx or golgoroth or the warpriest and I have only two pieces from the raid. I'm at 305 light. mostly I've done strikes and when I would get a higher light level of something, I would just infuse it. it takes time but it works. you don't have to do the raid to get over 300 light. just do trials of Osiris and iron banner, do the nightfalls on three different characters. you'll get lucky and get good things. good luck buddy.

My Titan is 304 and my hunter is over 300 as well, both without raid weapons and gear

I got a 310 Artifact from Trials and Iron Banner. Also got 317 Voidfang Vestments from Silver Tier. It's very possible. You're just not [b]WILLING[/b]

This is Destiny, pve doesn't matter, if you only do pvp you will be 320 before a 320 item drops in the raid.

You can get over 305 without raiding

It's possible to get IB drops that are well above 310 light. Same with Osiris

You don't have to raid, it's one less person I have to kick from my team

Actually just by playing trials and getting a bit lucky on the gold tier can net you a very high light exotic which you could either wear or infuse to put your other gear on par with hard mode gear.

Edited by vintage812: 11/21/2015 2:12:57 PMI'm able to max at 304 and have not raided once. I have 3 pieces of trials gear and gloves from the nightfall and after I hit 300 I got like 3 310 hawk moons so infuse crazy I went.. TLDR: just play

4 RepliesI totally agree. I'm personally 312, but my friend has only just gotten to 300. The thing is, to level up, he needs to raid, and to raid he needs to be leveled up. Same thing goes for ToM. To get it, you have to (first) finish the raid, and to finish the raid, a lot of people require touch of malice. It really sucks, and I can't help with normal until I finish hard, and he doesn't play a lot

Just freaking do trials. If u get bounties done 320 stuff can drop. If your not good at PVP then it sucks to suck.

You don't have to raid. Do IB to Rank 5 and you'll have at least 3 310+ items. 310 Sword Mission 300 Special Weapon from Eris 310 Artifact from IB 310 Helmet from IB 317 Ghost from IB That gets you above 300 east, and then exotics drop at 310 half the time.
