They just need some kind of sway mechanism to decrease players aiming their riffle flawlessly at a certain spot. I don't play trials, but adding some kind of sway would benefit trials players. Help the most skilled players out.

9 Replies1k yard stare is way too op i literally bought the gun took into crucible and wrecked with it and I have never used a sniper on the pvp side. It's aim assist is ridiculous. I killed somebody that just came out of cover there was Maybe half a second between the time he left the rock to the time I shot. The snipers are ridiculous

I have to agree. I love my snipers but damn there is too many times I get kills that shouldn't be lol.

Don't believe me? Look it up. And also people don't have the option to infinitely reforge until they get Hidden Hand/Unflinching. And "bullet pull" is almost insignificant. It's not as if you're suddenly going to start immediately hitting headshots if you get a good aim assist sniper.

Learn what you're talking about before you spew nonsense, and quit it with the nerf herding BS.

AA on Y-09 Longbow Synthesis was 53. 1000-Yard Stare has 56. Not a big difference. Aim Assist does not curve bullets, or increase the hit box. It simply slows your reticle ever so slight when hovering over an enemy. The higher the AA, the more the reticle is slowed. Don't use Aim Assist as a scapegoat so Sniper rifles can be nerfed. #BumpforTruth

Aim assist isn't really that big of a deal ! Everyone complains about the 1000 yard but honestly their is a better sniper in the game ie black hammer. The black hammer can 1 shot a hammer of soul.

.... People just don't understand. Snipers do NOT get bullet pull. This has been proven. Aim assistance on a sniper ONLY slows the reticule down when you are aiming at someone.

No bashing here, but some YouTuber did testing on bullet pull (I think Rick_Khackis) and snipers have little-to-no bullet pull. But I do see where you're coming from [spoiler]WARNING: TRUTH INCOMING! People now bring up bullet pull in snipers because it's easier to critique than compliment. Bungie was actually kind of close to nailing weapon balancing. Like earlier, people now bring up bullet pull on snipers because snipers are now killing people because the shot package removal made people lay down their shotties.[/spoiler]
