I just received a email from PSN that my account was suspended permanently due to a name violation. Some of you may know who I am and my name was mildly offensive (it included a name of an STI) I understand some may take offence if they have the disease and then see it as " x has been killed by x disease " but it was a childish mistake when i first created my psn account all those years ago. (If PSN had a name change service like xbox I'd have changed it many years ago) Main reason why am positing this is because at the time i got suspended (it gives a day of the violation) a person from who i beat in trials messaged me saying hes gonna hack me, report me and insulted me for about an hour till i blocked him. I'm guessing he's the player who reported my name and got me banned and its a damn shame that people like that ruin my entire experience on the playstation. So just as a warning to everyone if you get salty don't go and report people unless the name is 100% insensitive or damn right cheating as it can effect a lot of people and hurt them as I have now lost thousands of hours on an entire account ps1, ps2 and ps4 not to mention all the online games, dlcs etc i have purchased gone overnight because of a salty pvp'er who couldn't get flawless. Yours Sincerely, The community Team Sony Computer Entertainment Europe http://eu.playstation.com EDIT2: Been shitting a brick for a while due to strong words such as "Permanently banned" and "severe breaches" but they assured me it was just because of my name and since I've never been in any bother with them before and my account has been around for so long they will allow me to submit a name change request but if that actually happens or not is to be seen. Fingers crossed! EDIT3: A lot of people been asking for my actual PSN name. I don't want to give that out since they is haters and children who could and probably will report it even more so withholding it for now. EDIT4: A lot of people been asking for what was sent in the message in the trials match. I looked at my saved screenshots and unfortunately only got the start of the messages. In this particular trials match they was in the back of the C spawn in last weeks trials so I was flanking with the trials pulse rifle picking each one off as they hard-scoped the pipe thing trying to headshot my team mate who was literally just sat down watching them around the corner every round. Edit 5: I received a response from Sony FINALLY... basically saying they accept my 5 name suggestions and they going to begin processing this.
