I will try and keep it short. But there might be cake... need raid / light advice
Day one player here. Have one of each and not 3 of the same type character. Done VoG and Crota plenty of times.
Life kept me away from Destiny for a while and I ended up 2 or 3 weeks behind every one else. Most of my raid friends
moved to Halo or other groups as I was away. I have a 303 Titan but no crew or a sherpa for my first run. I did LFG
and it was painful. For one 310 light required or experience required was the norm. I am not going to sit and complain
as they can ask for what ever they want as I was lucky and got the Ballerhorn very early in year one and every one
demanded you have one to raid back then. Same story now and its their choice. My question is simple, To get the
light level up you need the raid gear it seems. I have pounded on the court and even trials for gear with limited success.
How do you get that first full run if your light is only 303 and you have no raid experience? I was able to do one boss with an LFG before getting booted for a better equipped player. That did not hurt my feelings either as I could understand I was
slowing down the process. But what do you do? I'm no kid and dont know many other adults that play in real life to hook up with. I work and cant troll the various forums all day looking for people with the patience to sherpa a newb in the raid.
I am looking for some friendly advice nothing more. Thank you for reading and I am sorry the cake is in fact a lie.

For normal you should be just fine if you could fine a group. You can add me and I will help if needed and tip before you run it get through the taken war quest for the road to kings fall quest before you do it gives you the 310 artifact.

2 RepliesRun the normal raid until you are better equiped. You dont need 310 for normal 295 should be high enough.

I've had good luck with the100.io. if your on PS4 send me a friend request and I'll include you the next time I set up a raid. I have a feeling you just need a couple of good drops on normal to comfortably do hard mode, or have an easier time finding a group to run you through. If you're on PS4 send me a friend request and I'll include you in our next group if you need it. Tag same as above.

2 RepliesHard raid or normal? I was 290 on my first normal run. It gets easier and easier every week if your lucky with higher light drops, I seem to have hit a wall as of late and can only get light lower or even with what I already have.
