No Knight Strat is an absolute mess.
It feels very simple when it goes well, but things seem to go wrong all the damn time.
Take the chance out of your raid and try this strat.

Excellent strategy. Exactly how I've cleared it 6 times on hard. People underestimate the blessing and touch of malice combo. I use it everywhere

Edited by TheOne_Eash: 11/3/2015 12:06:23 PMIt's a good strat, and two ToM with a weapons bubble on top of a blessings bubble just melts the ogres, but what about when you don't have two titans, or they can't get their supers up. I've done the no knight strat with no Titans. Just smoke grenades up top and snipers/ToM/grenades for ogres. I actually think the best idea is being ready to switch to any strat as needed.

We do it differently with no knight strat and has been really smooth for us. But I guess whatever can get the job done.

Ill keep running no knight strat... finished it 4 times like that... shitloads easier then this We even did it withouth titans

3 RepliesPlease explain the difference between the normal strategy on the hard mode release and this one? I see absolutely NO CHANGES.
-
2 Repliesyea but its dependent on having 2 titans
-
My team runs it like it's on normal mode. All the enemies jump off into space. So no adds. The ogars shoot each other. Oryx hands wins to us.
-
2 Repliesbeen clearing adds before detonating bombs with my team for over a week the 2 bubbles is a nice innovation but not necessary
-
1 ReplyTried this strat early this week but only with blessing but still got ogres down quick...very simple
-
1 ReplyPretty much just a slightly modded normal strategy. Looks like you have good players more than relying on a great strat. What are you doing to generate lots of orbs after staggering Oryx?
-
1 ReplyIn other news sky is blue You can see from here that my team did this style on hard when hard mode came and we did not even need bubbles https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZwIyZDb-v2s Also same on normal mode first time, but that video is damage wise so horrible i will not link that lol.

the issue with this strat is it leaves to much room for error. with the no knight method one person can shoot knights while the team flinches oryx just to completely reduce room for error. not to mention if youre down one near the end of the fight you can easily line 2 ogres into one zone to allow 1 player to tag them both. this method requires a full team which would require a completely competent team which not everybody can find because lfg isnt always reliable. my first HM clear we were down one the whole thing and easily beat it because you dont need a full 6.

Bump??

I was hoping for some spoof video of throwing two Solar Grenades at his hands and having him fall off of the Deadnaught..

Bump.

1 ReplyBump once for later

3 RepliesBump for later pls

4 RepliesThat is not how u beat hard oryx. The real strategy is to go up to him an give him a hug. He will immediately die from your kindness overriding his evil soul.

Did Oryx HM last week with a strategy very very similar to this one. Diference was we had a titan up on the platform with a bubble helping take ogres and those in their platform would crouch and snipe out the knights after their ogres died. Once that was done we would all meet to the middle :)
-
made it look easy

1 ReplyI do the same strat. Only thing i would improve upon would be to suggest that the titans stand right next to the wall when they pop their bubbles so that you have a clear lane to kill all the adds. The bubbles were taking up the whole middle so you had to expose yourself more.

Nothing new...
