Learn to grind some pvp to 'EARN' a gun. I know that word might scare you, earn, but you guys are way to childish. I don't understand how you guys can grind for some fragments, flakes, and special sword crystals which are just boring old repetitive grinds - but when presented with a challenge you guys whine and moan that the game isn't easy mode anymore. Pve takes no skill. If you don't mind shooting a predictable AI boss that goes through the same routine then that's on you. Just please, don't come complaining when you actually have to step out of the comfort zone to 'EARN' a completely OPTIONAL piece of gear. When did gamers become so lazy that a single challenging quest made them so aggravated? I can't seriously believe any of you guys are real RPG fans. Guys who went to grind Chocobo races in FFX, or fought any of the weapons in any FF game. Hell you guys probably never unlocked Gill in SF3, got the gold medals in Doritos crash course, beat any old mortal kombat game.
Bottomline is, when the hell did gamers get so entitled. This whole 'I paid for the game I choose how to get what I want' mentality is stupid. If you want your own game go make one. You guys are ruining games right along side Bungie's business practices.
Edit: I really don't mind if I sound a little rude or annoying. If you aren't one of these pve guys then this post isn't for you. To all you other complainers. Learn to man up. It's a game. You really can't be bothered to challenge yourself in a game? Seriously?
Edit 2: Yes. PvP guys moan as well. My point is everyone should stop whining. There is no pay to win. We are all on equal footing. So don't expect the same guns of you didn't put in the same work. Simple.
Edit 3: This is still getting commented on for some reason so here. Stop making this pvp vs pve. PvP whines nerfs. Yea I get it. PvE whines too. Right now PvE is whining a lot more. So I made this thread. Just like I've made threads to tell PvP people to stop crying nerfs. I'm not trying to put PvP vs PvE. I'm trying to tell people to stop complaining about the exotic quests. If you want the same gun anyone else has do the same work. It goes for Chaperone, First curse, ToM, any exotic sword, ect. Don't expect all the gear if you refuse to play the whole game. Also please stop this childish as 'forced' thing. No one is forcing you to do anything. No one has forced me to do the raid so I haven't done it, but that doesn't mean I'm being forced into it for the gear.
TL;DR : Don't expect all the gear if you refuse to play the full game. Don't expect the same gear someone else has without doing the same work.

Edited by S4B3R7007H: 11/1/2015 8:45:12 PMWhen bungie fixes their pvp I'll play it like all of the other pvp games I've played over the years... Until then Why should I be subject to their incompetence in game development and lack of dedicated server investment.

Man... You must have not been here when the forums were filled with bozoos screaming nerf at the top of their lungs. You would not believe the amount of "nerf this gun! It killed me!" Everyone had to sift through to get to the legitimate complaints. Have I seen some laughably bad PvE complains? Lol yup! Have I gone on senseless rants all over the internet about these? Nope. Have a complained at all about shotguns or auto rifles when they were "OP"? Nada. Just enjoy the features you like. Don't worry about what the other people like.

If you are not a great crucible player then be realistic about your success in trials, iron banner, etc. At least they implemented skill matching in the higher competition modes... If you can beat the rest of the kids in the kiddy pool and that makes you upset, go play rumble until you can win a 1 on 1

3 RepliesPvp whine more than anything i see....its nerf this nerf that. Gah a sunbreaker killed me oh no that hunter hit me with his super 6 times....

Mfw you're using the bs shotgun with range boosting perks, cheap bullshit kills shotty That's not skill scrub, you must use that shotty as a primary with Blink PS: no shotgun should be allowed to get any range boosting perks if it already has such high range.

4 RepliesHaha ur quite the douche bag aren't ya pal? As a person who plays both pve and pvp I can tell that this post is you just wanting to get attention. I've been to the lighthouse many times, competed each raid on hard many times. Let me tell you, it takes more skill and teamwork to complete the Kings fall hard mode raid than it is to get paired up randomly against bad kids in a pvp setting and go to the light house. Get your facts straight then post a stupid comment you ignorant cow

7 RepliesVolunteer to be a floater during the Oryx fight in Kings Fall: Heroic and tell us all how easy it is to deal with 4 light eater ogres, the 4 light eater Knights, the snipers, the centurions and the adds in about 25 seconds. But you'll have to get that far first ;)

I do think you came off as an a-hole but I 100% agree with edit 2!

PvP players nerf the shit out of our weapons. Examples -Vex Mytho -Souros -AR ((all of them)) ((now they are useable)) -Pocket Infinity -FR ((all of them)) ((they are still crap)) -Snipers "Armor Piercing Round" it was extremely handy to take the sword barrier in Crotas fight on hard. -Hand Cannons ((all of them)) ((still on going)) because of Thorn complains. And there not done yet there are many posts calling for snipers nerf Seriously if they get it then TTK raid will become extremely difficult to do. Now tell me who is the real problem? In my opinion PvP and PvE should be separated from each other so if a player want to enjoy PvP or PvE he should choice it on his own free will not rewards.

10 Replies-"PvE takes no skill" -0 Kings Fall completions. -Doesn't have 3 level 40's -Doesn't have Stormcaller or Sunbreaker subclasses -Git gud?

Point is, there should be multiple paths to getting such exotics. I don't hate the pvp but it does irritate me when someone who might be a collector has to suffer through the unbalanced mess that is destiny pvp just to get a cooler sword or the chaperone.
-
Edited by Draconalu: 10/31/2015 8:17:44 PMWhy the hell do you think most people want the quest paths for exotics to have either a straight pve or straight pvp path. So we don't have to play the content we don't like to play to get the stuff we are trying to earn. If I can avoid Crucible then I will otherwise hello rumble with two friends for a match or two to breeze past the crucible portion so I can leave crucible to the pvp players.

1 ReplyOh I'm sorry we pve people laugh at how much bitching you do you constantly cry nerf and cry fix that sun breaker really it ridiculous you say we whine over playing your broken ass pvp laggy as shit pulse rifle galore and unbalanced piece of shite
-
Noone would mind going into PVP at all if it wasn't such a broken mode. Lag is present in every game, someone is always cheating, and aim assist allows any idiot to get kills. There isn't much skill involved in playing PvP. Blink shotgun, slide shotgun, quick scoping, unlimited supers. None of these are skills. They're exploits of a broken system. Also, if you want to say something is repetetive, then look no further than PvP. That's all it is. Sure, there are different game modes but it basically boils down to "kill people before they kill you." At least raids and some strikes offer mechanics you have to think about. Before you start attacking me, I like PvP in the right circumstances. When I get in a game where noone is lag switching or cheating it's fun. The problem with quests like the one for The Chaperone is that deaths count against you. And in a game mode where people cheat their asses off to screw other people over, that is a huge problem.

3 RepliesI've read a lot of stupid posts on here but this has to be one of the fυckin stupidest posts I've ever read, PvP is random loot just like PvE moron, iron banner is the closest thing to earning anything and all u have to do is play on the last day and you get to rank 5 in no time. Oh and by the way the ONLY reason for guns getting nerfed is because of crybaby PvP players, "boo hoo I get killed by thorn in ToO, boo hoo hawkmoon killed me with one shot" Fυckin whinny ass loser.

3 RepliesThe problem with PvP is that getting "gud" is basically impossible. You've got some people who've been playing competitive multiplayer in games like Halo or CoD for five or ten years, and you've got other people who've been content to play through the campaign and then move on to Borderlands or Assassin's Creed or whatever. Certain quests currently in Destiny punish players for not having been long-term fans of FPS multiplayer, because they require the player with minimal prior experience to compete against the veterans. In spite of what some people might have to say about the matter, no one is going to overcome a five-year experience deficit in the handful of months a certain quest remains current. Whether or not a person is capable of completing some of these quests is determined entirely by factors that were set in place long before Destiny ever became available for purchase. It isn't even really the occasional Crucible oriented quest that is the problem. The two issues I have are quests which are obviously tied to the PvE elements of the game but have Crucible sections haphazardly thrown in, and quests in which the player's hard-won progress can be revoked. In the former case, it disrupts the fun of the game by arbitrarily blocking your progress until you complete some miserable chore. It's like the material farming section of the exotic sword quest with a heavy dusting of frustration added on top, just to see if they can get you to break something along the way. Asking someone to enter a competitive environment and then perform a specific task that requires a less-than-optimal approach for story reasons ruins matches for everyone involved. Regarding the latter, you would never see a PvE quest that asked you to kill Oryx ten times, where you lost two points every time you died during the encounter. Whoever decided that structure would be a fun challenge for players ought to have his or her head examined.

3 RepliesCrucible doesn't take skill it just takes a slid and shotgun to piss everyone off.
