How many people have the jade rabbit?
Hey just wondering, let me know what you think about it. Is it worth the hype? How and when did you get it.

1 ReplyI have one and like it quite a bit. If you use it right you'll barely ever have to reload in pve and it's solid in pvp.

1 ReplyI've had five so far... I really like it, hits hard, you get your ammo back if your aim's good. My hunter and titan carry one, my warlock has Tlaloc, which isn't a million miles away.

It's a nice low tier exotic. I've been using it for everything that's not the raid or nightfall. Their are just much more useful and powerful exotics to justify using it in high level content

Looking at the 310 jade I just had drop I'm thinking unless u plan on doing what it tells u to do and get body then precision shot well that's allot of reloading if u miss I'll stick with my hung jury

I got it from 3oC farming a couple weeks ago. I havent given it a chance yet, so many great pulse rifles ive been messing with. Its hard for me to adjust to the slow rate of fire

It's a nice scout but honestly I don't use it too often. Being that I like to shoot everything in the head I'm already against the fact that I need to intentionally miss crit shots for the sake of making it reload itself. However doing that in itself actually seems to take some effort as it seems the aim assist/bullet magnetism is pretty high as I need to nearly shoot at an enemies legs to keep the shot from striking their face. The rate of fire is very slow, so pair that slow rate of fire with needing to reload after every 7 shots unless you want to intentionally miss headshots I'd rather use a faster rate of fire scout rifle and pelt them in the head more often for a minimal damage decrease.

Great gun. Possible to kill with 2 body shots then a headshot on lower amour guardians

I used it all through iron banner, thing wrecks in pvp, 3 headshot kill and stupid range. A good replacement if you liked hand cannons pre ttk.

1 ReplyI've been using it since the beginning of TTK and love it. If you are doing higher level content your exotic slot is better used elsewhere but for the normal grind I find it invaluable. I use the reload perk and keep the 7 shots in case I miss or am taking down shields. Ace of spades might replace it though. Or Chaperone when I get it Wednesday.

Got it right after launch. Personally, I really like it. The range is incredible. And if you learn to use it correctly, the dmg is phenomenal.

8 RepliesPeople who say it isn't great have NO idea how too really use the gun to its max potential. Besides no time to explain no other primary can out dps it against bosses. It hits so much harder then people are giving it credit for. It's by far one of my favorite guns in the game right now. It's so 3asy to proc the perk. Hit a few body shots then shred everything.
