Daughets Oryx Hard mode no loot?
Like the title says, the daughters hard mode didnt drop loot for me? any reason why? Are the loots not guaranteed to drop if you havent cleared it once yet? I assume since its a boss fight it drops loot? Or am i mistaken? Any light on this, id really appreciate it..

The normal and hard mode Raids have their own separate loot tables, so the two modes can be completed separately or can be combined. Completing normal mode does not lock out earning loot on the incomplete hard mode. However, if a player starts the Raid on hard mode and completes it, they will receive the loot rewards from both the normal and hard difficulty mode. There is a checkpoint for every boss killed that grants activity-specific loot. This checkpoint allows players to return to that checkpoint of the Raid if played before the week resets. Separate characters on the same account can each play the Raid and still get raid-specific loot as they finish each section of the Raid; this means an individual player can earn loot from a Raid for a maximum of six times (for three characters) per weekly lockout. There is a Raid checkpoint tracker for characters that players can access on Bungie.net to keep track of their progress, and to see what bosses have been looted for the week. 7 RepliesThis happened to me as well. A ton of people on this forum really don't understand how this game works, so let me explain it. When You kill the Warpriest or Golgoroth, you get drops from their bodies. When you kill the Deathsingers or Oryx, you get your drops from a chest. In raids, if you have completed normal mode and opened a chest, you will not get rewards from that chest in hard mode. Same goes in this case, except for a slight variation. Since hard gear can only be dropped in hard mode, opening a chest in hard mode after you've opened it in normal will give you a [u]CHANCE[/u] at getting hard mode lot. If your RNG was unlucky, it will appear to drop nothing from the chest because you've already recieved all other possible rewards from doing normal mode earlier that week. I hope this helped you understand your friend's misfortune, and I wish you guys luck in your future endeavors.

Funny i ran hm daughters only, no normal before hand. All i got was moldering shards. It's hard enough to get through a raid, teaching randos how to run the raid, and to finally complete a boss only to get the shaft at the end? Thanks for the bitter taste in my mouth.

I also had no loot drop for me after my friends and I put in alot of work to get in. I was the only one not to get a drop very disappointed seeing as how I can't play as much as I used to and when I finally do get some free time it ends up being all for nothing... Why?

Same here. Got no drops from them on 2 HM runs. Only a couple people out of the 12 did so I'd say drop rate must be very low or we were unlucky.

Same, I did daughters on hard, didn't even do it on normal and everyone in my fire team got rewards apart from me? Is it possible for bungie to send me my rewards?

Seemed very bugged because the chest dissapeared fast and none of us got a thing from it, except the one guy. Please send me my loot I earned Bungie!! >:(

Dear Bungie, Yesterday (OCT 23TH.) for the first time me and my buddies went and did the HARD raid all the way up to the Golgoroth when we decided to leave. Before that, during our victory over the Warpriest I was awarded with the Harrowed Qullim's Terminus machine gun. The problem is that since I was carrying too many heavy weapons I did not have space, but believed that would not be a problem since I had plenty of new space in my postmaster. For my sadness, after leaving the raid, right after the fight over the Warpriest this item was not there. Older items that I carried in my post master were still there. I agree it is very frustrating not to get loot, I thought my fireteam and I were getting screwed over cause no one got anything from chests but now I understand. But people do raids for the loot, not to get absolutely nothing good, wait a week and just get nothing good again. Like my millions of under 305 fusion rifles and getting 2 shards from consuming 20 of them at oryx just baffles me. But if it's like that you should be able to do the raid every 3-4 days cuz waiting a week just to get screwed over again is just stupid

1 ReplyI had very limited amount of time as I am a working adult . I got to attempt one checkpoint which was the daughters or sisters. Only one person got loot dropped from it and yes they also completed the sisters on normal with me the day before. This is eyond ridiculous. Bungie you've taken boat loads of money from your fans and yet you still continue to spit in our faces . FIX YOUR SHIT !!!

Had this happen to a friend last night. Where I beat it with him on normal on Tuesday but on hard I get a mark and he got nothing. Makes no sense.
