Literally 1 sunbreaker runs around and destroys everything on the map. If we are on the B flag and a sunbreaker approaches everybody has to run away and give them the easy cap just just he has hammers and that goes for any flag. On the other end of the spectrum with a sunbreaker on our team when he pops his super its like a sign of relief, everybody reloads their weapons, huddle up, maybe hand out refreshments and just pick off the little kills of the helpless guardians that never saw it coming. Something has to be done bungie....its just too powerful literally I can try super hard and be in the lead of both teams in score and a sunbreakers pops off his super twice and super passes everyone in the lobby and we automatically get a 3000 point lead. It just seems to me that they hold too much power in the game its like fighting that one elementary school bully who is twice your size, sure you can beat him if you can get more ppl to group up on him but sure a hell your going to die in the process. Obviously I will get a lot of comments saying I'm just crying please nerf but this is just getting out of hand like something needs to change to be on a more even playing field.

Agreed. Sun breakers need a nerf in pvp. As in take off Grande and horseshoes with the hammer or make them killable like the stormcaller.

One thing for sure, you can't really blame people for defending the class they main. It's human nature in general. Regardless, Bungie is eventually going to ignore those individuals and do what is right in an attempt to further balance the game. I had a pretty good idea that there might be a problem when I started to rack up multi kills by blindly throwing hammers in the direction of red on my radar. The proof is in the pudding, or in this case, the inevitable nerf.

4 RepliesSunbreaker's Hammer of Sol is the only case I have seen consistently able to single handedly force the tide of the Crucible. Without even having to consider their Grenade or Melee, not even their weapons. Woe is you if they lock down Heavy Ammo with their Hammer of Sol, so that they flow right into Heavy Ammo kills right after their Super Kills. I have never seen so many kill spree montage videos on YouTube pop up so damn quickly. The results speak loudly.

yep - that's why I is one! I will do IB on all 3 characters and will use the new Subclass on each of them! I have been shotgunned before got my first hammer off though so some guys can shut the hammer down BUT if first hammer gets away then B is 4 dead bodies and I'm heading for A to find the spawn point!

They need to turn HoS back to the way it was in the beta literally the only way I can kill one is if I dodge 3 of his hammer and pop a shotgun in him most the time I need 2 GGs to kill on where he can throw one at me regeneration his health and have 5 more hammers so anyone who says that it's not is retarded I main a hunter and when I switched to titan my kd shot up by a whole kill I was averaging a 3.0 in ib and I hate playing on titans so obviously something need to be done because it's pretty much giving the titan a truth with 5-6 shots and an over shield that can take a 1000 yard stare to the head from a 309 level hunter so they need to change it back to the way it was in the beta and I'll be fine
