What level were you ACTUALLY when you did the Thorn bounty.
What level were you when you did the infamous Thorn bounty? I was level 26, the light recommended for the strike. Beat the strike alone, as a level 26, with an auto rifle (At the time when they sucked.) I beat the PvP part with a green shotgun from the gunsmith. Top that.
Edit: 270 replies! My level 26 has been blown out of the water.

I was a 23. No one did it lower... maybe the pvp part, but you couldn't start the strike as a 22 or lower since it was a 26 version. And if you dropped your light lower, you would not damage the boss.

The first time, I was 28 and had a friend with me that was 24. He hid outside the room so I could respawn and then run in, kill a few things, then repeat. The second time I was 32 and did it solo.

Low. Can't remember. Think I was one of the first though because I was wrecking in the crucible for a while. Like 30 kills per game.

I just boosted the stupid thing for collection purposes. I got it pre-hand cannon thorn buff, back when it was considered garbage along with bad juju.
