Nightfall loot quality is still garbage
I know it used to be annoying to get shards or energy from the nightfall but things are really no better. Either I am on the worst RNG spell or nightfall rewards have been nerfed. On three characters I would typically see an exotic drop at least once every week or so but I havent seen one since the expansion. Also what drops I have seen have been pretty terrible. Things that are immediately dismantled. I think this needs to be reevaluated...Again...

Got 13 strange coins and 5 motes for the 3rd week in a row

Its hit and miss. Ive gotten a single tier 3 court of oryx summon stone once and a 310 truth the other time. And loads of crappy legendaries.

2 RepliesI used to run the Nightfall each reset on all 3 characters.. first thing. Since the TTK not a single one. It's now just a bloated Vanguard strike.

Yeah it's better running the heroic strikes. Nightfall was good due to the rep bonus but that's gone now.

1 ReplyAgreed, Nighfall is a waste of time. Legendary Marks? Nope. Bonus XP? Nope. Trash drops? Yup! Props to the one guy that got a 310 Thunderlord but so far the effort doesn't equal the reward. Might as well just grind CoO or pick up raid joins.

2 RepliesYup the supposed new rng is as broken as the last. While my clan mates are picking exotics up for fun I'm getting strange coins and useless legendary drops from nightfall rewards. In fact I'm getting better items from the vanguard packages - without an exp booster too boot in the nightfall it doesn't really seem worth it for the difficulty rating

I got 5x 3 of coins... Uh... Just give me the 7 strange coins instead. I got a 297 legendary chest with my 2nd run tho so it was ok i guess

So far the best gear I've had drop for me has been random drops in story missions or on patrol. I'll get legendary gear with low light levels from nightfall. Dismantled for the marks.

And the reputation dropped from 500 down to 25 for vanguard nightfall rep completion. Why the heck did Bungie remove 475 reputation from beating a nightfall ?!! Those cheap grinding time wasters. They just want too prolong content more. Slow people from leveling up vanguard. That's it.
