The U.S.A has a bigger military two times bigger then Russia's, and way more technology advanced. A major plus we have over Russia is that we have an all volunteer military unlike Russia's Conscription military. A volunteer military will always be more well off, trained and more professional then a conscription military, thus the U.S military is better off in military operations where the troops listen. Unlike Russia's military which is known for being corrupt and unreliable. (See First Chechen War, Soviet Invasion of Afghan) Russia's tech is still far behind the United States, even with the new tanks and jets Russia has (Which haven't been officially put in service yet). Our Air Force AND Navy is is 4 times bigger then Russia's, also we have more APC's, Tanks and anything else. Another yet dominating advantage the U.S has is it's force projection, the ocean pretty much belongs to the U.S with our Navy. Russia has no were near the level or force projection we have and can never pull off a invasion of the U.S. We can invade Russia while still maintaining a presence all over the world. If conventional war is like fapping, the U.S hasn't let off a load in decades and has had a little pre-cum in some sections of the world. But if it get's into a war with Russia it would -blam!-ing let that load off and it will cover the entire continent of Russia. The U.S has been preparing for this shit since the Cold War, and we are the gods of war during conventional warfare

1 ReplyActually I think it would be a lot closer than you think. Examine the attitudes of both leaders: Putin just does not give a dead dog's shit, whereas Obama will not even carry out a threat he makes. Putin has managed diplomatic success on several occasions, when Obama gets caught spying on allies. Putin uses Ukraine to drive a wedge through NATO and the west lets him. Russia has been strategically placing themselves all over the world to bleed America bit by bit, and America closes it's bases in Europe, and tried everything it could to get out of the Middle East (combat troops are back though for all the good that did). The Russian Spetznaz have skills and training equivalent to US Special Forces. This would be a long and bloody war if it came down between us. I do not see any winners. Just a lot of dead people.
