Is anyone else disgusted by the quality of rocket launchers in this DLC?

I'm also talking PvE here. I don't use Rockets in crucible.[spoiler]Corrective Measure since '84[/spoiler]Perks are universal. I don't care about your awesome roll on your Smolder or Choleric Dragon cause they're garbage launchers. [b]How many rockets you carry doesn't matter, because a roll with tripod or field scout will max that out when combined with rocket ammo boots. [/b][i]Getting tracking added to your rocket launcher with cluster bombs because you have the Taikonaut is great and all, but [b]IF YOUR BLAST RADIUS AND VELOCITY ARE LOW, IT'S STILL A SHITTY ROCKET LAUNCHER[/b][/i]
The only good rockets appear to be The Vertigo and the generic Suros version you can get from the Gunsmith.
Just for clarification. A rocket launcher is to deliver splash DPS to an area. The most important stat is Blast Radius. How big the blast is. The next most important stat is Velocity. How fast the blast gets where it's going. If one of these is low, it's a shit launcher end of story. Doesn't matter what perks you got, or what exotics help it.

All I know is that the new Life Support perk is a beast on a RL for PVE. I have not seen many good ones however but hear that they have a Y2 Ash Factory. That should be a beast with Life Support / Three Shots or Clown Cartridge. (Prox and Three for pvp).

I got lucky with the roll on my crucible launcher on my titan. Blast radius isn't all that good but it fires rockets extremely fast and does the job.

Yes. The only currently viable rocket launcher is the FWC vendor version. All the rest are garbo. Im going to buy a thunderlord and run with ruin wings and forget about the rockets. Hopefully there is a hidden exotic launcher or something that is good.

I think what he is referring to is the fact that a grenade that can stick to enemies will do as much, or more, damage to an enemy

Had a truth drop out of a legendary engram yesterday. At least I won't have to waste marks making one now. I feel like mg's are superior in this dlc. Every launcher I get is either dismantled or its fodder for another weapon

I'm using a blue Suros with cluster bombs for PvE and had my hunter buy the FWC Suros launcher for pvp, so I'm okay for now. I'm still looking for another launcher for PvE. My issue with PvP is, I have boots that up my rocket ammo but I still only get two rockets, period. I had to find a good LMG for regular crucible since two rockets isn't really that useful except for in Elimination and Trials.

Truth is the Truth. Taikonaut is love especially adding Dragon's Breath. There are hidden gems as well I'm surprised only a few people know lol
