No [i]you[/i] are wrong. It just needs to be equipped. I got that part of the quest completed with a [i]Telesto[/i] kill followed by a double machine gun kill. I wasn't even initially trying for the quest and it popped. As long as TLW is equipped in primary and you maintain your 2.0 kd it will count.

All my progress I got it from heavy ammo and streaks. I've ended +2 kdr and still lose progress but that's on games where I don't get any streaks. You don't need the last word kills.
