Just a couple of questions for other guardians. What type of connection do you use? And do you still get constant error codes? Not starting anything just want to know if it is worth running 15 meters of cable to my Xbox.

Wired with Google Fiber.

I used to use Wi-Fi all the time before 2.0 came out and I got kicked several times, just about every day. While downloading 2.0 I decided to try wired to see if it would boost the download speed. 2.0 downloaded a lot faster and I decided to keep it wired for gameplay. I’ve only been kicked twice since 2.0 and I think I was actually having a bad internet connection those times. I’d go wired if I were you.

I use wifi and i get disconnected once a week maybe, use a Ethernet though.

Yes its worth it

i prefer wired sometimes with wifi all these errors...

Wifi works best for me, but the downside is that you can't pull a wifi cord on a raid boss.

Wireless AT&T U-Verse about 37 mb/s. About 3 kicks into orbit once a month whenever my team does something stupid that causes my frames to drop. Or whenever my family decides to go on their phones/ I pads at the exact same time... -.-

Wired, AT&T Uverse 40(ish) mb/s. I very rarely encounter errors related to connection. Usually a game world glitch that results in a boot to orbit.

Wired. As Green said.
I very rarely encounter errors related to connection. Usually a game world glitch that results in a boot to orbit.
If I do get an error, most of the time it's from someone in my fireteam

My bro uses wire I use wireless. He doesn't get contacting destiny servers and I do. So using wired is way better

6 RepliesI use wired and don't have issues.

I run on a wired connection and I rarely get error codes. I've tried wireless before and only got two error codes. It all depends on your ISP

I get disconnected from Xbox live or destiny a couple of times a day, using wifi. It may be safer to start with a wired connection, it certainly couldn't hurt any more than wifi does.
