Oryx boss battle underwelming?
Honestly I'd have to try to die on it. He swings with his sword almost killing you, allows you to regen, spawns 4 thrawl which were wiped out in 2 seconds then rinse and repeat til he was out
Edit: so he's actually a challenge at the 240 light apparently. When I did it it simply said impossible so i didnt even think to try it. I'll give it a shot at around 220 light or so in a day or two and face the REAL final boss

220 light was still pretty rough. But once you figure out the strat for oryx it gets better. When you're fighting him in the circle take out adds immediately and watch your back at the same time. I would say heavies on adds not boss

If you're in the air he will smack your ass straight into a wall in you will die. I learned that the hard way.

I enjoyed it especially near the end when he hides in the fog and attacks here and there. It was fun. Can't wait to do it on higher difficulty when I'm stronger.

Nope, not at all. It took me about 45 minutes to defeat him. It's a long battle too with lots of phases, which I love. And let's not forget how hard he'll be in the raid... on hard mode :/

2 RepliesIts not over though. He didn't die. I think kings fall will be a lot harder. But that's destiny for ya, the black garden was a huge disappointment as far as epic boss battles go too. But a the on made up for it. Just wait n see. We haven't seen everything ttk has to offer yet.

2 RepliesI dont remember Skolas being particularly difficult to kill in his story mission form, so not all too surprising that Oryx is easy too. If he is cake in the raid that will be a different story lol.

Took me about 5 tries. When he swings the sword of you don't jump out in time he one shots you.

It's was really cool. Plus it a story mission. If that was the final raid encounter it would be different.

That's a story mission, nice change compared to the last story though.

Personally I really enjoyed it. Try it again on hard it's defo a Lot harder I felt pushed during the mission but not overwelming it was a perfect boss fight to close off on
