[BUNGIE] Preparing your console for Destiny: The Taken King
Hey everyone!
[b]Destiny: The Taken King content will be available beginning at 2 AM PDT (9 AM UTC) on September 15, 2015. If you have ordered Destiny: The Taken King Legendary Edition or the physical Collector's Edition, these should be available for pick-up/purchase today, September 14, 2015[/b]. Please check with your local retailer regarding availability, as it may vary from region to region.
The best way to prepare for the release is to ensure your installation of Destiny is up-to-date with the latest update. Doing so will ensure a smooth transition into new content when Destiny: The Taken King launches.

If you're having issues installing the update, it is suggested to attempt a manual installation:

i preorded TTK on ps3 and got the suros stuff. then i bought a destiny ps4 with the legendary edition and while playing my next gen console and the legendary edition i dont have access to my preorder suros stuff -_-

I can't download Taken King on my 360, at all. It keeps saying download failed. It doesn't even let me purchase it. Is there a problem on your end, because after trying every trick and suggestion I can safely say it isn't mine. I've been trying all day to reach some sort of tech support for the game. I'm only gonna keep trying for so long, I really don't want to walk away from this game but I've had it. It's bad enough you took away half the year one end game content, now I can't even get Taken King to play the new content.

Hi Bungie, The "help" section of your website links to this forum. I've posted my question three times in three separate sections and received no reply. There is no other method of communication on your website. I understand you receive thousands of posts a day, but the lack of direct contact to a customer query relating to a purchase is really, really poor. PSN had an almost instant email confirmation and helpline. I would appreciate an answer to my initial query, even if it is 'no'.

I just started playing tonight, and went into my inventory, and saw over a shader Suros Minimalist, and one of the Emblems that it requires the special preorder code. I preorded The Taken King digital download and have had access to these from day one of the download! Why all of a sudden do I not? This is a glitch. Fix it! My gamer tag on XBox One is the same as in this thread.

I pre-ordered it months ago and now it's saying I need download content to access it. As I stated I purchased this months in advance when the announcement of the DLC came out. Hello Bungie could you try and explain to me why i need a 20 dollar DLC that is now redundant, has very little effect on taken king where all armor has been replaced all weapons have been upgraded I already know the story (you are told to kill crota, after 2-3 missions and a raid you do) all that for 20 bucks just to then pay 40 bucks for taken king please lower the price of dark below so that you then get more sales and more people able to play taken king

Gah ! Had the game working mostly for a while and it crashed back to formatting the hdd again and reinstalling. Anyone else still getting game freezes still ? Mine kept crashing on one of the missions meaning I could t progress or do the nightfalls etc. =^ (

So give me my helmet I've more then earned it I've heard of hunter getting the drop so wtf i heard some people have got it more then oncegive my my damn helmet bungie make the drop higher or something because this is bull ive been doing this for 3 whole day of strikes and nothing. Help me out give me my helmet

Glitches. Please help bungie I have been farming day after day for calcified fragments from chests and have had no luck. I have not opened all of the chest but when I do get a key for a chest I don't have on the dreadnought I do not get a calcified fragment. Please help I am on 44 out of 45 and can not get the last one for the life of me. If anyone can please msg me. Gt SkullCrusher MC

I recently upgraded my digital destiny addition to a physical legendary edition (disc) and it made me delete my digital edition in order to use the disc. I've redeemed the code for TTK so what will happen if I re-download my digital edition? Will I still have TTK?
