Best Trials Sniper
Hey all. I know there has been many posts like this one but I have seen a lot of differing statistics when it comes to snipers.
I have my favorite sniper equipped on my warlock (longbow). What I was wondering is if her benevolence or shadow of veils actually can have a higher aim assistance.
A lot of people say that benevolence rolled correctly has the best but planet destiny gives the nod to shadow of veils by a large margin.

1 ReplyThat aim assist seems to screw me over more often than not. I just stick with my tried and true LDR. I got it the first day it was out and kept it ever since.

2 RepliesLDR 5001 or Y-09 Longbow Synthesis. Both can easily snipe off the res if you don't have those then Her Benovalence is a good replacement cause it pretty much has the same stats as an LDR

Edited by Yama: 9/4/2015 3:15:28 AMIt all seriously depends on your play style like I used to use the benevolence and then the spear I liked the spear better cause I felt like the hidden hand hindered me, now I'm using the longbow synthesis cause I feel like it's the best of both worlds. It has enough impact to kill people when they rez in trials, with a good rate of fire without hidden hand.

4 RepliesI think the best pvp sniper in the game was the pre-dlc new monarchy one. Closest to it now is the fwc one and prob some others i cant think of. If you can get that style sniper with field scout, double down or the other perk which gives you more ammo then you can spawn with 26 bullets in your sniper every time ( in the beginning of the match ) and i often run this in trials because it can two shot to the body when i have to 1v3 sometimes. Its very effective as well for when it comes to getting headshots because it also has high aim assist. ( target acquisition )

Shadow of veils only has high aim assist. The perks are awful. Her benevolence is alright, the aim assist is almost the same as a longbow, but it can be raised with hidden hand. It isn't a noticeable difference in aim assist. Your longbow has decent perks, and HB would be worth it for the re roll. It's up to you in the end, you already have a strong longbow, it may be worth it to get a HB to re roll to your satisfaction to use alongside your longbow.
