Lol first of all little desticles, that is one game that ACTUALLY requires skill. I'm so glad there's never been a buff OR nerf to any of the weapons because they don't listen to crybabies who complain cause they can't get kills and get wallbounced. You children (adults with no life) ask for the dumbest buffs & nerfs I've ever seen in my whole life. You guys basically made the game worse by all your complaining. This game requires no skill honestly.. if you think trials is "competitive" you don't know what competitive means and I'm being honest.
Gears of war will ALWAYS be a better franchise, we don't have a community from call of duty cause most people that play cod are little kids that aren't good enough for gears. And for you playstation users, don't even talk shit about gears you guys are considered casuals to us Xbox players. You don't know what skill is.
To the kid Rooster 2011, He's a playstation casual that has currently came out of the closet. So cheers to him!
Edit : this is not bait, I am just stating facts. LET US NOT FORGET. Xbox even put it on the cover of the game "best Xbox game ever made" don't believe me? Go look yourself.
Ninja Edit
Hello OP (or anyone who has decided to open the spoiler and read all of this).
I'm one of the Bungie.Net Ninjas. We may have met before, we may have interacted, you might have heard of us, or you may have no clue as to who we are and what we do. Well, this little note is to explain some of the things we do. One of the major roles we play is to handle the reports that come in whenever a member clicks on the "Report" button, to let us know that there is a post, a topic or a user that either doesn't understand or isn't following the rules that we all agreed to follow when we joined. But that's not the Ninja function that brought on this note.
The reason I am writing this is because I have retagged your thread. Bungie.Net uses hashtags to designate their major forums and to help keep things organized. Your OP (original post) was opened, created or given a hashtag that well, wasn't the best choice. It could have been that you were browsing through the various forum/tags that are available on the site or app, and clicked on "New Topic" while in a forum that didn't "match up" with the subject matter of your OP. Or, you may have thought "this belongs here", when unfortunately, it doesn't.
That's another role of the Bungie.Net Ninjas. We not only try to keep things fun, pleasant and welcoming here by removing rule-breakers, but we also want EVERY good topic to have the best chance to survive, thrive, find the right audience, and get lots of on-topic replies. And so, I have retagged your topic to move it to the forum where it has the best chance of doing that.
I give you my word that I have not altered a single letter or character of your Original Post, just placed this message below it and set the tag to better describe your topic. You may notice that you are unable to edit this post anymore. That is a part of the system, and I apologize for any inconvenience that it may have caused. I've not replied or commented on your OP, since this message would most likely be "off-topic" to your thread and when members see a Ninja or Mentor (who are volunteers from the community) or even a Bungie employee post, they tend to go a little crazy and the disruption to the thread becomes a distraction. I don't want that to happen to your thread. I want it to be in the BEST place possible, to be seen by the largest audience who is looking for this sort of topic, I want it to take root, get replies, grow strong and make these forums a better place.
If you have any questions, you should feel free to PM me. My name is now in the upper right corner of your OP where it says "edited by".
Thanks for your patience, thanks for being a part of this community, thanks for taking the time to read all of this (I hid it in a spoiler so that anyone who clicked couldn't complain about "too long, didn't read"), and thank you in advance for creating your future topics with the forum/tag location in mind.

3 RepliesOh look you had to come on this forum to complain about people here not liking a different game. But while you are here... That game is trash. Let me walk around like an ogre grunting. All while I struggle and feel trapped in that slow ass moving character.
-
5 RepliesYea its lame. Now gtfo
-
Most satisfying headshots in all of gaming!!
-
5 RepliesThey've never nerfed or buffed a gun? Lol GoW 3 would like a word.
-
Best part about GoW man every kill is super satisfying in multi-player to gibbing 2 peeps with a shotty to chainsaw dueling
-
Ew Gears.
-
Played gears, played destiny, like them both.
-
13 RepliesEdited by THE SARGE 01: 8/28/2015 3:42:09 PMSkill in GoW is no more than: Sprint to cover Wait Sprint then roll to next obstacle Pull out shotgun Wait some more Shoot once. Shoot a second time if you suck Victim explodes Yeah, lots of skill and coordination required. Same receipe from about 8 years ago. I was an avid GoW madman. The proble with it is the extreme lack of replayability. It gets boring way to fast.

1 ReplyUr right! Skill is all that matters 1 vs 1 gnasher fight, wallbounce skill As long ur not host, pvp require skill... HAIL GNASHER GEARS IS LOVE, GEARS IS LIFE....
-
This game does take a decent amount of skill, some random who's never played can't pick it up and wreck unless they have a good strat
-
2 RepliesI can't comment about playstation users or the rooster guy or even COD players. Gears is so much harder than any multiplayer I have ever tried. The learning curve is higher and the mechanics are much harder to learn... like wall bouncing. This is all from my experience, I am not saying new players will have a rough initiation into it like I did. The game feels much slower and requires some getting used to. However, scoring a one shot kill with the gnasher is the most satisfying feeling you can get besides a sniper headshot. Too bad I truly suck at any gears multiplayer. That community was mean too, in fact, I thought the gears 2 online community was much worse than anything I have seen in destiny. I even used to get hate mail, and I was complete garbage. You're not supposed to send hate mail to the bad players.

3 RepliesI love the Gears games, but they absolutely butchered the multiplayer after the first one.
-
Never got into gears pvp, I loved playing story and coop mode was epic. (no pun intended)
-
1 ReplyGears of War multiplayer is nothing more than Wallbounce+Shotgun
-
Assault rifle with a chainsaw, enough said. GOW was good fun especially playing coop with a buddy.
-
I played through the first two with a friend and didn't care for either. It's not a poorly made series, by any means, I just found it dull. Come to think of it, I'm hard pressed to remember much about it. Lots of chest-high walls, the chain gun, and that's about it.
-
Love Gears of War, not sold yet on getting the remake thou
-
Lol gears is stupid, fps is the only fun shooter :/
-
Underrated game of its time. Played gears religiously and buying it today for the one....hopefully
-
Edited by TheMighty3X: 8/28/2015 3:32:50 PMYep...it's bait. Never played Gears. Never owned an XBox. Don't give a f*ck.
-
I personally did not like the gears multiplayer i hawever think the first halos were more skill based because everyone started equally but in gears i would get rekt by the saw off which is apparently cheap
-
Never played gears. Had a friend that played it and they didn't like it though.
-
Edited by SlickGoku: 8/28/2015 3:32:51 PMHurr Hurr my skills is so l33t you can't even seem em.... Bruh how old are you? Don't forget that when gears 1 came out it had the WORST servers for pvp. Maybe 1 match per 2 hours of gameplay would be lag free, fun, and playable.
-
Why is this in #destiny
-
Yea lets just run around with shotguns (thorn) and hope when I shot at u and u shot at me from 2 feet away I get a headshot before you. Sounds like a lot of skill pal. And yes this is literally gears in a nut shell expect for those who use the special weapons (Heavy for destiny). Destiny and gears are both different games with OP weapons. The only difference is the battle scheme is far for destiny and short with gears. But are competitive in their own way. Stop trying to feel special cuz ur good at the mechanic of a different game.

Gears was good when if first came out but it hasn't aged well. It's near unplayable because it feels so dated.
