I have a level 32 Hunter. Considering starting a Warlock or Titan.
Any input which is the better class to go for. Mainly play the Blade Dancer subclass of Hunter.

I alternate pretty evenly between Hunter and Titan. Have all 3 maxed. But warlock still doesn't quite feel right to me. That being said, if you have time, max all 3. It's worth it.

1 ReplyIf you like to play solo Warlock; self-rez will make up for the lack of teammates to revive you. If you like to play co-op, Titan; every team is happy to see that bubble.

As someone who prefers the hunter, my second go-to is the Titan.

Titan master race

Both, when TTK comes out you can be level 25 day one and then decide.

Warlock! Owns titans in pvp and pve. Things may change when TTK is released so maybe you should wait a little but I suggest to have all 3 if you have time man

1 ReplyAh one thing I hadn't considered when posting. We have the new subclasses coming up soon. So assuming you're getting The Taken King, in ~3 weeks you'll have even more choices. Honestly, I'm not super familiar with any of them. Sunbreaker (titan) looks powerful Nightstalker (hunter) looks... "different" Interesting, but different. Sith Lord looks... electric (/rimshot) Now, to unlock the new powersets you'll need to first do a special "unlock mission" at a given point. Like use a Hunter to "learn" the Nightstalker powers or whatever. In which case, you might want to create your 3rd one now so you can unlock it. Or... wait until TTK releases, and use your free upgrade/up-level token to make a new character high enough to immediately do the subclass unlock mission.

5 RepliesThe good news is that by having a 32 Hunter that you have the option of starting out with a the alternate powersets unlocked. So... personally I had a lot more fun with my Warlock than my Titan. My Titan actually made me stop playing for X months because I just wasn't digging it. The Sunsinger is very survivable in PvE thanks to the punch=overshield ability. The grenades are decent as is the super (even non-rez options). Honestly the only downside here is that the Sunsinger super doesn't count towards that "Kill 3-at-a-time with a Super" bounty. Voidwalker is fun once you start to level it up enough and are able to spam Nova Bomb more often. I don't mean you NEED Obsidian Mind and Bad Juju... but enough Intellect and something else to just make it proc more often. You'll be "squishy" but it's fun.

I would say warlock but with the new subclass and blink being nerfed I'd say titan

1 ReplyI have quite a lot of saved booty for Warlock, so that seems to be the way to go. Are they the guys that hover instead of jump? And create the blue shield?
-
Honestly I have two titans and a warlock. No intentions of starting a hunter tbh. Do either. Both are fun. But with that hammer of sol coming....

Titan master race

3 RepliesVoidwalker so you could keep doing that blink shotgun of yours, sweatie.
-
Warlock all day.

Warlocks have blink which allows for a more Hunter type game play plus the extended melee range Matchs blink strike
