We are all as rationally minded as nature allows us! That's what you can't see. If we were meant to be peaceful creatures the law of natural selection wouldn't exist! Since it does exist, we have evolved (no, not like Pokemon) to have this anger and survival clauses inside our brains. Terrorism exists because of this. People murder because of this. Rational thoughts seek to accept what we are and build upon what we can do logically. Being rational does not mean to deny nature or its causes.
Militaries exist to prevent evil on a global scale, not to dominate country. The only way military has controlled a country is the military-industrial complex. That's it. If you hate the military, you should hate police officers because they do exactly the same thing but on a local level.

We have actually evolved to be this intellectual because of a virus that separated us from our ancestors so while we have a built in need for survival are brains have also evolved enough for us to think towards a more peaceful way of survival!

Intelligence was actually born from self awareness. Knowing you exist is the first step. Just ask Descartes. Why do you think Dolphins, chimps, gorillas, etc. are intelligent? They know they exist and who they are when they look into a mirror. Self awareness does [i]not[/i] stop us from acting in need of survival and anger. That is a separate part of the brain. Science only proves that we are in fact driven to be tribalistic and violent creatures.
