Me and my girlfriend both play destiny, together when we're home. We are constantly battling nat issues. I have forwarded her ip addresses, but I can't do the same for me. If we play just the 2 of us, usually things go smooth.
We can't however play with more people without having one of us dropped consistantly. Crucible is a no go for us, and raiding with others is iffy at best.
Anyone have any tips on how we can improve our experience?

We have two and have found out that switching to an "older" modem/router with Time Warner Cable was moch better. I called Tech Support and they swore all 4 that they used would work great with 2 consoles and they'd never had a complaint. But a quick Google search proved otherwise. Chose the best one, there are lists of routers that are supposed to support 2 consoles. Then just made a wired connection, set up Static IP, enabled UPnP and it worked much better. You might have to put 1 into the DMZ, but you should never open ANYTHING on that console (especially e-mail).

Ok here's what I did. I have each PS3 their own IP address. Then I went into my Router settings and put on PS3 into DMZ and the other I forward the Ports. Then I connected one PS3 (hardwired) to the modem and hardwired the other PS3 to the router. One PS3 has Nat type 1 and the other has Nat the 2. It works great. We can play with anyone on everything.

Well my brother and I play destiny on our ps3 kn the same connection. Raids are fine but iron banner is a no go. Although my connection is wired and his is wireless. Kinda fixed our problem of having to reconnect when we were both on wireless

Ask yourself, is she really worth the trouble? JK
