Legendary Vanilla Weapons
Did we ever nail down a guaranteed way to get them? I know you can get armor from tiger strikes, but weapons still seem like an unknown.
Edit: Come on people, we should have some form of confirmation by now right?
Note: I do have vanilla guns.......I only have two though

Keeping my Grim Citizen III forever. I had an epitaph, exodus arc launcher, and crahser, but I was a big scrub and deleted them when I got better guns in TBD.

How about the vendors rotate their stock, one month vanilla, one month TDB, and one month HoW.

2 RepliesPerhaps you can get them from tiger strikes... however the drop rate is going to be 1-100 to get a legendary. And vanilla/TBD weapons can't be reforged. So only 1 in 10 had a decent perk roll.

1 Replydroprates are fine. it should be a wow effect when you get shot by an vanilla vanquisher or shadow price ... would be a shame if everybody could obtain this originals. only mounth one players should get access to them back in the days

Okay I've done a lot of looking into this topic and from a couple of different sources I can reasonably say that I [i]think[/i] rare weapon engrams can drop from the postgame rewards from a tiger strike. I've never personally seen it though so I can't confirm it.

You can but it's exceedingly rare and more often than not ends up being a faction weapon in my experience.

It was confirmed on stream that you still can get them, but only from engrams. A dude got an LDR from the engrams.

One of my friends claims to have gotten a blue weapon engram from tiger and it turned into a shadow price, but I can't confirm that he didn't have it in the vault. I have seen videos where people find weapon engrams from Eris/ROC and get TBD gear

10 RepliesNot sure about vanilla, but tdb legendaries are obtainable but EXTREMELY rare. In Roc strikes they have to drop. Like actually drop at the rewards screen. All weapon engrams turn to how-generation legendaries now. Sad but true :/ I grinded thru 100 strikes and saw ONE weapon drop (old Judgement)

Making a new character and turning in the very few blue engrams you get at a rewards screen is the only way that I know of.

3 RepliesTiger strikes. Very rare but that's your best bet. Nightfalls and PVP drop them as well but again, extremely rate.
