Scrubs that use Thorn/Shotgun/Rocket..
is there not a part of you that even feels a little bit bad for using such cheap weapons & destroying PvP right now?
I know that if I was running that combination of weapons, and winning easily because of the weapons and not my own skill, I'd feel pretty weak.
I won't stop using ARs, because they're fun, and it's a challenge, but still the amount of players on this game that are using those weapons right now is disheartening to say the least, it's almost as bad being on a team full of thorn users, because kills are scarce and easily stolen.
Edit: Right now there are two groups of people that I see and the big change in september will have different impacts for both.
There's the scrubs who have terrible stats overall but recently are doing well because they have super OP weapons & when the nerf comes they will be hit hard, sent back into their terrible stat world with the rest of the bandwagon garbage.
And there's the veteran players, who are chipping away with their trusty ARs, FRs and snipers, awaiting the glorious day when they will return to the top for good, and take a big shit on all you thorn users.

That's the current meta...... It's been that way for months now. Don't complain when your using an AR you can't expect to do well autos are really bad right now. Like you said it will mostly change soon so stop moaning.

I use all of those. I also use pulse rifles. I was huge on autos pre nerf and recently started using them again. I am a terrible sniper so shotgun is all I can do. Lmgs are fun but so many rocket bounties recently...

If a weapon gives you a competitive edge...and you use that edge to your advantage it doesn't make you a scrub, it makes you smart. (Especially if the weapon is fun to use) I'm not saying that some change isn't warranted...but calling everyone that uses the best most competitive weapons in the game scrubs is a bit much don't ya think?

It takes skill to kill with any gun.. Get over yourself. . If you are as good with the weapons you use then you would be a monster at using the weapons the supposed "scrubs" use.. I say if ya can't beat um join um and smoke um..

Dude stop complaining. I've been playing destiny since the launch and I have been hit with every exotic weapon and have not got an exotic weapon at all. I just got an exotic bounty. So I will use the exotic no matter what. So if you hate it so much stop playing. If you can suck it up like I have keep grinding and prove other players what you're made of

1 ReplyYou have to remember when the game first came out everyone complained how Suros Regime was the most OP unskilled weapon ever. That was when Hand Cannons were considered the "skilled" weapon. Now that the meta has changed you consider AR's or Pulse Rifles are the "skilled" weapon now? If all the players suddenly switched over to pulse rifles everyone would be complaining about how Red Death or Messenger was stupid OP then hand cannons would be the "skilled" weapon. The new meta would become Headseeker high impact Burst Rifles that the community would be complaining about. If everyone were to suddenly use snipers people would complain how the game is so passive, that real players run in with shotguns. Even then, blink shotgun will still dominate. The only thing that reliably stops blink shotgun is a hand cannon. Say they nerf blink, then everyone will complain about how Fusion Rifle OP, Firebolts OP, Axiom Bolts OP, or maybe some DLC perks OP. There will always be the "new" thing that everyone will complain about because you don't realize that the community will just adapt to the next most effective thing. Point is. People have no idea what they want or what they're talking about. If the game went over to a Pulse Rifle meta then that's cool but I wouldn't doubt that everyone would just start complaining about how dumb pulse rifles are.
